@301663 @tomdflynn Sure, but then they wouldn't be claiming government benefits now would they, as otherwise you'd have to be married to more than one person, which the laws don't allow. So the whole point of the retweet is just a really shit lie now ain't?

@301663 @tomdflynn So how would they get government handouts if they're not getting married under Australian law? You can't do both

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@Nev92612361 @toiletpaperaus1 Maybe the fact their own sources doesn't say 48000 migrants, but 48,000 permanent residences. It's literally a clickbait title

You might have seen Pauline Hanson’s latest immigrant fearmongering, with this post about 50,000 migrants using the 5% deposit scheme. But here are some facts Pauline Hanson doesn’t want you to know ➡️

@GMK1706 @Triegaardtau79 @realRick_AUS Not to mention first home buyers like myself need at most $50k to pay for a deposit on a $950k home. Lower the home cost, the less the deposit. It's almost like our government does help us, but it's never really addressed or says it's never enough

@Triegaardtau79 @realRick_AUS He’s got a pre-determined view and even though he’s asked a question he’s not actually interested in hearing any reasoned suggestions. EVs can be obtained through leasing with minimal upfront cost, even novated leasing so you get tax benefit on top. Then it’s printing $ day one

The median Australian earns between 80-90k a year, Someone tell me how they’re suppose to afford a home, an electric car and installation equipment required? Not including all the other bills they have to pay. Just one logical answer would be nice.

@Exiledkage @lilduval So. If this theory is right. Wouldn't that make the consequences of not acting on climate change 1000 times worse as if the globe warms to the point the ice walls melt, it would cause all the water on earth to just fall off?

@yeahnaa333 @BinglesGaming @ChrisGloninger Appreciate it but it's not my work, it's just the laziest response I have to one of the laziest misinformation posts I come across lmao. That being said, Simon Clarke is a scientist I'd highly recommend, as he leans into these denier points to explain the reality

Cute cartoon. Now do the one where fossil fuel companies are sitting on $1 TRILLION in stranded assets that become worthless if the science holds up. Climate scientists aren't paid to lie. They're paid about $80K/yr. Fossil fuel companies spend BILLIONS to make you believe this cartoon instead of the physics.

@Zapata18791919 @GreenTyler27 Strange take. Housing affordability only improves by prices falling, not pushing people to buy a bubble. The two factors driving prices is immigration & investors (too much demand) ONP is the only party with policies that reduce demand.

So you know how Pauline Hanson has been apparently calling for a tax on gas, as well as increasing the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax? Well, those exact changes just got proposed. One Nation voted against them. I wish I was making this up. Here’s what happened ➡️

@MLeiter42 @wx_zoe @KPIXtv Palaeoclimatology shows its due to 2 main drivers. Increased solar irradiance and the milankovitch cycles In today's climate, solar irradiance is reducing and the earth is tilting away from the sun, indicating we are currently in a glacial cycle, and yet we are still warming.

@AetherRaven @wx_zoe @KPIXtv First, most of the recent interglacials got *warmer* than we are today. Second, the one most like today was the one at 400 k-yrs ago, MIS 11. You should like into why...

🚨 CLIMATE SCIENTIST REVEALS THE TRUTH! 🌍 CARBON DIOXIDE IS NOT THE PROBLEM…“In my training carbon dioxide and it’s rise or fall could explain everything that had EVER happened in our climatic history!”. The truth is that carbon dioxide has a logarithmic relationship with temperature, and as CO2 increases it has LESS of a warming effect. We are already at 99% of its saturation point, which means no matter how much more carbon dioxide we pump into the atmosphere, the Earth will NOT warm significantly in response. This makes the man-made climate argument, frankly, fall on it’s arse 🫡

@77caneboy @wx_zoe @KPIXtv ... To build and produce in your own country, thus you'd not only indirectly reduce China's CO2 emissions, you'd also be taking away their economic power. To some, that's just a win win scenario.

@77caneboy @wx_zoe @KPIXtv Net 0 is not 0 at all cost, it's exactly what your talking about. As for the China claim, yes they produce way more CO2. But 1 they also make everything, and 2 on a per capita basis, they aren't the leading. When energy is switched to renewables/nuclear, you make it cheaper...

@77caneboy @wx_zoe @KPIXtv Also thanks? Really I just don't like listening to climate activists like Greta, because much like deniers, they aren't scientists, I would heavily recommend Simon Clark, who not only talks about global cooling and critiques al Gore's documentary, but actually study's climate.

@77caneboy @wx_zoe @KPIXtv Actually, theres an interesting answer to the whole "inaccurate model" argument, take Hanson's scenario B model, the one that climate deniers use without providing context to why the model is so inaccurate youtu.be/f4zul0BuO8A?si…
