2026. Mom ended up in the hospital, then to rehab, then her insurance told her to go fuck herself and sent her home with no strength to move. Now my dad and I are forced to take care of her and we’re both mentally and physically exhausted. Fuck @aetna

So, I had old knee replacement to be replaced finally approved w 1 day in hospital, then aetna turns around and drops my Dr's for the surgery. Aetna is the worst insurance anyone can have, I feel they dud this hoping I'd change insurance come next yr.. Do not choose Aetna

I disagree. The hospital will still treat someone. That’s what’s important. But the insurance company has the option to deny payment if they don’t feel it was for a legitimate reason. I had it happen to me not all that long ago. Yes, I was seen. Yes, I was treated. But, I got a notice from my insurance a few weeks later because, in their opinion, my situation didn’t require a visit to the emergency room (it did, btw)

Insurance is a scam. Denied twice for a shoulder MRI so self payed. Turns out my biceps anchor is torn and requires surgery. @Aetna do better.

Can someone explain why I’m being told from @Aetna that a follow up visit to have stitches removed is not part of a “global surgical package?” Leave the stitches in? I’m being told this is a separate bill. If they get infected do I now have a lawsuit?! @SutterHealth

I feel for you Rolan. I have never seen the likes of this in my life. Luckily by some grace of God, after my visit to the spine dr on Wed my pain magically went away once I got home and did some exercises. But this is total BS. I had an appt for MRI at the hospital but had to canx because @aetna said they would not cover. Even though they’re in network.

I do feel compelled to start writing about how awful the disability insurance industry is. But if I do that, the insurance company will come after me for “working” and will say I’m no longer considered disabled despite not being able to do the job I used to do.

@Aetna for the first time in over 10 years I am now having to pay out-of-pocket for my daughter‘s medicine. You raised a generic medicine by $210 a month. You and @cvspharmacy are the worst. Thank goodness after next year, you will not be our health plan in the state of NC.

Oh, @Aetna is out there denying pharmacy claims cuz they want 3 months filled at once. Every year they force us to opt out. No notice at all… First of all, I’m a HEART FAILURE PATIENT…missing a day is not good for me. It can kill me. Next, the stress from going in to have my pills filled only to be denied cuz AETNA’s greedy. Next, after 3 heart attacks WHY IN THE FUCK DO I WANT 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE? So they get their fucking money. @realDonaldTrump @RobertKennedyJr Fix this shit!
