As of now, this is what I would go with for The World Cup. Saka is not in form. Palmer is not in form. Bellingham is not in form. None of them deserve to start, it is exactly the mistake made under Southgate. I don't know about Gordon either, but Rashford has been poor too. Gordon has shown more promise recently though, Rashford isn't even getting minutes. Backline is quite self explanatory.

The dream of a quadruple was nice and it would’ve been amazing. However, hopefully this is wake up call and we’re lucky its on the EFL Cup. Players need to use this now to fire us up differently for the remaining trophies

Just to put things into perspective - This is our first loss in cup games all season. - This is our fourth loss all season. We are in March. - We are still 9 points ahead of City with just 7 games to go. Don’t let one bad performance and result change the fact we are very very close to achieve something special this season. Use this loss as a fuel to win the rest of the games.
