When Albert Ojwang’ was abducted, brutally tortured and strangled to death by Eliud Lagat and his thugs, Ojwang’ rose from a simple teacher to a Kenyan martyr. When Kenyans rallied around Ojwang’s name and started demanding justice, they were not doing it for his father, mother, wife, child or family. Kenyans are united around Ojwang’s name as a SYMBOL of our long struggle for liberation, freedom and social justice. Consequently, whatever Ojwang’s father says or does in his private capacity as a father, has zero bearing on what we, as Freedom Fighters, do to advance the struggle for liberation, freedom and justice. We appeal to millions of Kenyans to turn up in huge numbers and march for freedom until the tyrannical and suffocating @WilliamsRuto regime falls. #JusticeForAlbertOjwang #Justice4AlbertOjwang #ArrestEliudLagat #ArrestMohamedAmin #ArrestNoordinHaji #ArrestIsaacLagat #OccupyStateHouse #RutoMustGoNow #RevolutionNow

@hon_wamuchomba If the medical supplies such as essential gloves are not provided how can you attend to the patient. As much as we are human you can't do much without essential commodities. So don't act righteous

I have watched vedio clip about a man holding a dead baby in his hands in Igegania hospital in Gatundu .He blames health workers who apparently are on strike and failed to attend to the sick infant the whole day and the baby succumbed. It’s very heart wrenching to see him breaking down in agony .This is one of the many cases of intentional neglect of health services provision in Kiambu county public hospitals. My sympathy goes to the family of this child and demands that the county bears the burden of providing interventions to the many patients in desperate need of medical services. Labour disputes should not cost our lives ; let’s be human . #Womanforthejob

This is a betrayal of every Kenyan who depends on public healthcare. The government has made its priorities clear—billions more for MPs while slashing the health budget, the most reduced sector in the 2025/26 Budget Policy Statement. Hospitals are running out of essential supplies, doctors and nurses are overworked and underpaid, and Kenyans are suffering in a crumbling healthcare system. Yet, instead of fixing this crisis, our leaders choose to enrich themselves. At the same time, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) are being mutilated and blatantly disrespected. Agreements meant to guarantee fair pay, better working conditions, and dignity for healthcare workers are tossed aside, while politicians ensure their benefits are untouched. How can we provide quality care when salaries are delayed, facilities are understaffed, CBAs are ignored, and medics are forced to work in deplorable conditions? Healthcare is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right! We demand full funding for our healthcare system and respect for the CBAs that protect our workforce.

Congratulations, and thank you, President Ruto, for choosing Hon. Aden Duale—a man of change &;a leader who embodies quality leadership. He is a true performer & an undisputed representative of the people of Garissa.Bwana CS, the ministry has been facing significant challenges
Hon. Aden Duale, EGH@HonAdenDuale

"The prosperity of a nation depends on the health of its people." I am deeply grateful to H.E. President @WilliamsRuto for his trust and confidence in appointing me to lead the Ministry of Health. It has been an honour serving at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry, where we advanced key environmental and climate action policies. In my new role, I remain committed to working with relevant stakeholders in driving government policies that strengthen healthcare delivery, ensuring accessible and quality services for all Kenyans. A key priority will be advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) to guarantee equitable healthcare access, especially for vulnerable populations. Health is central to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), and I look forward to fostering interministerial collaboration to enhance service delivery and improve lives across the nation.

Gibore Maroah. General Secretary/C.E.O. KUCO
During the last campaign, if my memory serves me correctly, H.E. President @WilliamsRuto invoked the slogan “Wajinga waliisha Kenya” to emphasize accountability, a message that now seems all too real. Observing current developments, I dare ask: given the way funds are allocated, where are the government's true priorities? It is clear that healthcare is not at the forefront. Consider the five years of sacrifice by UHC staff @uhckenya254, who continue to receive meagre pay under punitive, dicriminative, and irregular contracts. Unfortunately, no funds have been allocated for their transition to permanent positions. To make matters worse, gratuity remains unpaid despite contracts renewed twice in blatant violation of the law. Furthermore, there are no funds to post , pre-internship clinical officers , and other cadres pursuing internships. This is causing a lot of relaps, some doing already one and a half years waiting for posting. The Cabinet Secretary for @MOH_Kenya Dr. @DeboraBarasa provides no satisfactory answers and appears helpless and aclear stste of confusion!! As healthcare workers, we feel there is a crisis in the sector, and the list we can do is to demand concrete answers and tangible actions because empty promises do not cure patients. The worsening state of our healthcare system calls for immediate and decisive intervention from the the Head of State. @KindikiKithure @kUCOofficial @GACOPA_official @WHO @Senate_KE @sellyamutabi @citizentvkenya @ntvkenya @RadioCitizenFM @Tv47Newske @ktnhome_

The Ministry of Education finally realized that KCSE certificates aren’t sacred scrolls that must be guarded by headteachers like ancient temple priests. Now, instead of students begging schools to release their own documents, they’ll be dealing with sub-county offices where they'll probably be told, "Come back next week, the person in charge is on leave." Progress? Maybe. But let’s not celebrate yet. In Kenya, one problem never truly dies; it just shapeshifts into a more frustrating version of itself.

The Ministry of Education plans to shift the issuance of KCSE certificates from schools to sub-county education offices. This move aims to prevent schools from withholding certificates over unpaid fees.
