Today is not the end of something, it's the start. Because on this day, we can say we won! Steam have decided to change their decision and not censor our page! We stood our ground and didn't bend the knee, going forward, we will keep fighting censorship. If we can win, so can you! We are a small team hardly anyone knew of, but we stood for what we believed in and won against the biggest platform! But we didn't do this alone, it's because of all of you! People from around the world, You told us to keep going and you stood with us. We are so grateful for you all, and we won't stop now. We have a growing community so thank you for the light in the dark. We don't have to be scared of censorship anymore, without devs making games they have no income, without you the players they have no power. Now, let us show you what we can do without the restrictions, this drama and even the memes (that was a little fun), but with our creations. We have a long way to go but stick with us, give us this chance and we will give it our all. 🤟 This isn't over. It's the start. #StanduptoCensorship We are going to be posting more about this below, we have a lot of questions we are working through with them but don't want to post until we have all the answers, just so it's accurate. Also it still says reviewing on our end but we have been assured they will sort that, so in good faith we have made this post.

Great sign of things to come in Crimson Desert if its true they didn't have storage chests just before launch! If they are adding things this fast from feedback I have faith in more positive changes. I didn't play it early so just going by others who did.

The jury is out on Crimson Desert. Turns out I was right. I know, I know... you guys hate when that happens. The consensus so far: • Exploration is the main draw • The game tries to do way too much • Feels like a single-player MMO • Story is trash • Mechanics are convoluted • Takes 8+ hours to even hook you So yeah, this is a very specific niche game. The kind some people will absolutely love… and most will play, think “yeah, that was alright,” and never touch again. And that’s fine. Not every game needs to be perfect to be enjoyable. And not everyone has to like the same things you do.

Your name suits you cos you be trippin'. There ain't no switch 1 or mobile playing this game, like this. My first playthrough was on the Switch 2, I took these myself. It was a great experience. 👍

@LegacyKillaHD I predicted after the preview that this is one that game journalists will loathe. There is zero hand holding and even at the preview event I witnessed several journalists from big outlets getting stuck in the tutorial puzzle for 45 plus minutes...

As someone who made a game where people couldn't get past the first puzzle, I think I am going to enjoy Crimson desert. The yellow paint argument is going to come out swinging with the release of Crimson Desert!

Most of the games I play are Japanese so I have started to learn Japanese so I can play them without the localisation options, also to play some that are not available here. I want to support Japanese creators more and not support their work being changed. Also it will make it easier when I am next visiting Japan. 🇯🇵 😄

The recent post crossed a line and could have caused actual harm. It was fortunate that people overseas brought this to light, as it helped Japanese content companies understand the reality of the situation.

@AftermathZGame I've been learning to read Japanese for this very reason, unfortunately a lot of media is region locked

One way to make sure you are getting the true Japanese artists' work and the experience they intended is to play Japanese games without localization. Sounds extreme, but I want to support Japanese devopers, so I have started importing and buying games with Japanese language options and learning Japanese. It will also make my time in Japan easier for when I next go 😄.
