@HensonMW_08 I am assuming position ws opn to international stdnts. Most of them snd emails to aprox 150-200 profs; sm on open positions & sm 4 connections. They r already exhausted, even the gud ones :( I wud sggst mking a google form to help u wth screening & avoiding readng generic emails.

@AgWater_Irri For my Masters, I applied to about 10-12 professors. For my PhD, I reached out to about 5-8 professors.

I have deleted my ad for graduate students. I have been swamped with > 250 emails from students about the position. However, the vast majority fail to address WHY our lab, use a stock form email (e.g. AI generated), or don't have the background. A thread: 1/5

@MATLAB Matlab's syntax is the least intuitive among all programming languages. Maybe it is time for MathWorks people to realize this fact! Matlab boos the beginners so bad that they would never come back to this language for their programming needs.

Travelling on a train from #NewYork to #Boston & the train engine fails. Now waiting for another train. In my donkeys years of train travels in India, can’t remember even once when we had to get off a train due to mechanical fault. Don’t they know how to repair an engine here? 😂
