Re CFS-8 vs 9. Each aims to identify people at the end of life. For CFS-8, it’s progressive inanition. Not rare in long term care; heralded by “taking to bed”. Survival varies by patient, condition, care. CFS-9 looks more like the cancer model; some do well till the very end.
