Arrest update: The operation in Parliament Square continues. As of 6pm, 365 people had been arrested for supporting a proscribed organisation. There have been seven arrests for other offences including five for assaults on officers. Fortunately none were seriously injured.

London Police Attack the Elderly to Silence Palestine Solidarity
Moments ago at the London pro-Palestine march, @metpoliceuk targeted an 81-year-old woman with Parkinson’s, trying to drag her away. Protesters stepped in to defend her, and the streets rang with chants of “LET HER GO!”
This is not “law and order.” This is a state assault on the right to protest, on free speech, and on anyone who dares stand with Gaza against Israeli occupation.
