@RexProfessor Also the accessibility policy needs to be amended to tell you HOW to contact Pokemon for accommodations.

@RexProfessor It is not uncommon at cups where I live for a break to be offered between matches, and during finals between games. This is in addition to the break that we have by default between swiss and top cut. This should be a standard addition to the accessibility policy.

The most important thing that can be taken from this is that Firestar requested a short break in the event of a bracket reset to calm his nerves and was denied it. He was later PUNISHED for these nerves affecting his reactions to the games. What an insane denial of accessibility.

@transitracer Have you tried setting up a reward system for not smoking? Like go a day without a cigarette and you get to eat a piece of candy or something. Works for me when incentivizing myself to do things like taking the trash out.

@sean_nowell @kalvan1917 @Firestar73_ Additionally, ToS is not a legal document and just because it might say you can't sue doesn't actually mean you can't sue, it's there purely so that they can say "See? They agreed to not sue" but that's rarely upheld.

@kalvan1917 @Firestar73_ While I agree that a lawsuit would make them change, it would also likely result in Firestar being banned from the play pokemon program, unless it is somehow found that the decision to strip him of his win was illegal under the ADA, which is unlikely.

@Firestar73_ I hope you consider crowdfunding a lawsuit. TPCI loves to ignore the community but a lawsuit might actually make them change.

@game_idaa @BrodieOnLinux Westerners do not view "the law" as an absolute authority. If a law isn't serving a purpose, such as piracy for games that aren't being sold, we just ignore them. It's important to learn when to not follow orders.

Pasteurized eggs in the us are generally safe raw. Mostly misinfo here right. Americans are just more distrusting of their government, but generally American food standards for safety is high.
