@faizanlakhani The mindset, body language, self belief and somewhat the skillset is below the standard. The management took the standard of the Competition too lightly. It's never too late though. One good Win will set things on path. I hope they'll get it right soon. Best wishes

Two games done, and Hyderabad Kingsmen just don't look right. The spark is missing, team combination look unsettled, and things aren’t clicking on the field. What do you think is going wrong? Team selection, batting approach, bowling plans, or just early season rust? And what changes should they make with the players they already have to get back on track?

And there are thousands of examples where coaches have turned their average students into icons only Because: "When the student is ready, the teacher appears" People need to show more of their own calibre, character and responsibility. Point their guns towards the right target.

"When the student is ready, the teacher appears" It's important to completely understand the above phrase of Zen philosophy of learning, if you want to judge, speculate and figure out the role of coaches. True learning requires internal motivation, openness and preparation.

In our times. One the great qualities you might have is the audacity. The Audacity to sail against the currents. If you have it, don't ever give up on it. Never worry what will become of you. Depend on no one. The Moment you're independent, you're free.

Tomorrow, I line up for my second marathon in just two months - the BYD Karachi Marathon. From Istanbul in November to Karachi now, this journey already feels unreal. This one is deeply personal. Running in my hometown, on the same streets where I trained, struggled, learned and believed, hits differently. I won’t lie, I’m a bit emotional about this event. A special mention to race director Shoaib Nizami, the person who brought me into running. What started as a step became a transformation and running changed my life over the last one year. I’m aiming to improve my finish time, but more than that, I’m running for every early morning, every doubt conquered, every mile earned.

Istanbul Marathon 2025 | My First Full Marathon (42.195 km | 5:13) I'm a marathon finisher, finally. Allhamdolillah. I'm proud of myself. But when I started running in October last year, I wasn’t even sure if I could ever complete a half marathon. In fact, I couldn’t even run for 40 seconds without stopping. But today, a year later, I crossed the finish line of the Istanbul Marathon completing 42.195 km in 5 hours and 13 minutes. A distance I once thought was impossible. This journey has been so much more than just running. It’s been about patience, discipline, self-belief, and learning to embrace the struggle. The early morning alarms, the long runs in the heat, the sore legs, and the moments of doubt, they’ve all led to this one moment. The feeling of crossing that finish line… it’s something I’ll never forget. I couldn’t have done this alone. I owe this achievement to so many people who stood by me throughout this journey. Thank you @shoaibnz for encouraging me to start running in the first place and giving me the confidence that I could do it. Thank you to my coach Faisal Shafi for being the guiding force behind every step I took. His training, support, and belief made me capable of running 42 km. Without his coaching, this wouldn’t have been possible. Also, thanks to my colleague and senior runner, @junaidmuhammadd whose dedication and consistency have always inspired me and my friend @madeehasyed for not letting me give up when running even a kilometer felt impossible. Thank you @kaukabsarwarr for being my mentor and constant support, and for that one unforgettable moment when you said, “rukne ka nahee, chalte rehne ka hai,” just when I was about to give up. And to Karachi's running community, specially my club SVRC, for all the early morning runs, encouragement, and laughter that made training so much more fun. Special thanks to Mehwish, Hina, Sadaf, and specially Dania for sharing her experiences and guiding us through our long runs. A huge thank you to my sponsors Inverex and Interloop for their incredible support throughout this journey, and to Interior Minister @MohsinnaqviC42 for making my travel and participation in the marathon completely smooth. From someone who couldn’t run for 40 seconds to someone who ran 42 kilometers, this journey has changed me. It has taught me that with the right people around you, the right guidance, and a heart that refuses to give up, nothing is impossible. Today, I didn’t just complete a marathon. I completed a dream and I'm proud of myself.

Working with Afghanistan domestic cricketers. Focusing on the fundamentals of batting. Stride towards the ball, head over the ball for weight transfer, feet and shoulders aligned for balance and stability, smooth bat swing and holding the shape. #battingcoach #cricketcoach
