A bad day in office as we experience our first league match loss this season. We go down 0-3 against VVC forcing us to regroup for a mid week Game 3. Time to get our hands dirty. @kcbbankug @Ugvolley

Serie A or National Team? The Question Ugandan Volleyball Must Answer What really makes a great volleyball club, and what truly defines great talent? In our non-professional and semi-professional #volleyball ecosystem, I keep returning to a few difficult but necessary questions. Is greatness defined only by participation in #UNVL #SerieA, or can it also be built and discovered in #SerieB and #SerieC? What opportunities are available for partners and sponsors? Many of the players we celebrate today did not start at the top. They came through the lower leagues. That’s where hunger is forged. That’s where raw talent lives. So the real question becomes simple: Are we creating enough space for upcoming players to rise? At what point do senior players acknowledge they have served the game well and begin creating room for the next generation? Every sport evolves because one generation prepares the next. When that transition is delayed, the sport inevitably stalls. Right now @Ugvolley is at an important moment. We have: • National team selections approaching • Clubs preparing for the African Club Championship hosted by @AFRwanda@nemostarsclub , @sport_svoleybal and @KCCAvolleyb preparing to represent Uganda • @CavbZone5 hosted in Uganda for a second time And so we must ask ourselves honestly: Are we going to participate, or are we going to compete? If we truly want to compete, then we must widen the talent pipeline. There is serious potential in Serie B. Many young players are performing at levels that deserve exposure on the biggest stage. Look at the emerging Middles from @BCSSports2 and @Ntinda_VC , and not because I’m the principal but because the potential is obvious. With the right exposure today, they could very well be the stars of tomorrow. Sometimes all a player needs is a chance. Imagine if the clubs heading to Rwanda integrated a few standout Serie B talents into their squads. It would not only strengthen national representation, but also help identify players who could become the next core of these clubs. Ugandan volleyball has talent. Plenty of it. But the real question is: Are we building the right pathways for that talent to rise? We are also in a unique moment as a volleyball fraternity. We have @Ugvolley President @nasiwu62536 actively promoting the sport internationally and increasing its visibility. Locally, He works closely with the leadership at @NCSUganda1 , serves as Treasurer at the @UgandaOlympics committee, and also carries a regional leadership mandate through @CavbZone5 as President. This kind of alignment in leadership is rare. How do we make this moment count? Opportunities like this do not come often. And even more importantly, how do we ensure that the progress of @Ugvolley lasts beyond any single leadership term? As we prepare for international competition, perhaps this is the moment for players, coaches, administrators, and the wider #volleyball community to reflect: • Are we doing enough to promote emerging talent? • Which players deserve a chance at the national level? • How can clubs balance experience with emerging talent? • How do we leverage the leadership we currently have to elevate @Ugvolley on the continental stage? I am excited to see three premium clubs heading to #Rwanda. But it would be even more exciting if this journey also opened doors for the next generation of @Ugvolley talent. Because the future of the sport may depend on the choices we make today. Who should make it to the national team and why? Let’s have the conversation. @DanielOkwee @Emanzi20 @SideOutAfrica @Counsel_Jeff @256Volleyball @supSOB @GCICUganda @DailyMonitor @NBSportUg @nbstv @AnitahAmong @Parliament_Ug @ESBChairmans @drukare #UgandaVolleyball

You can still bless someone during this Ramadan or Lent season, even if it’s just a bottle of soda or a rolex worth 1,000 shillings. A small act of kindness can bring light into someone’s life. No one is too small to give.

It's maximum points for the Lionesses after UPDF fail to make numbers for the game. At 10.40am the officials awarded the match. @kcbbankug @Ugvolley
