@RichardGrenell 2/2 Each European Leader needs to build their own network inside of the US for the time when Komrade Krasnov retires, and America returns to some form of global leadership position, after 4 years of weakness, isolation and anti-European sentiment. Merz is doing the right thing 🇩🇪

@RichardGrenell 1/2 @RichardGrenell - Who are you again, Dickie? You lived in Europe for a while until you were sent packing. All along, you never learnt a thing, apart from threatening Germany 🇩🇪 every chance you get. Why should Germany kowtow to Donald Krasnov? Quite the reverse.

@rohit_l @AdityaRajKaul And if Russia is sooooo scared of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, and the Baltics, as they claim to be: Why do they not deploy and troops on any NATO borders? Because they know that no attack will come from there. Ever. I wish people still had a penchant for independent thought

For decades Finland and Sweden had managed their relations with Russia while maintaining neutrality. Russia had not threatened their territorial integrity through these decades, though it might have been a difficult neighbor to live next to, by virtue of its sheer size and proximity, not to mention a state of antagonism with the West in general. That antagonism in turn was caused by NATO’s relentless eastward expansion since the dissolution of the former Soviet Union. The moves to include Georgia into NATO in 2008 provoked a Russian reaction, and then making the same offer to Ukraine despite Russia warning it was a red line, were provocations that the West has tried to sweep under the carpet through its pliant media outlets. Now explain to me why Sweden and Finland would then do the very thing that provoked Russia to attack Ukraine, when for decades they had successfully managed their relations with Moscow. The Scandinavians it seems got swept up in their emotions and stopped thinking long term - that they live in Russia’s backyard for perpetuity. A bit like how the Germans went and sabotaged their energy independence by shutting & closing down all their nuclear reactors. A child’s reaction.

@rohit_l @AdityaRajKaul Did India threaten Britain’s hegemony by asking to be independent? According to your logic, they were aggressively provoking Britain by daring to be independent. Countries are free to choose. Please learn that.

@rohit_l @AdityaRajKaul Every nation has a freedom of association. Russia aggressively dominated smaller nations since the 1850s. When the Soviet Union collapsed, these countries chose freedom. Why would it be a “provocation” for them to choose not to be part of a violent, corrupt autocracy?

@rohit_l @AdityaRajKaul Hmmh. Not a single truth here. Just the usual Russian talking points. Russia stole a large chunk of Finland in the Second World War. Finland and Sweden were always rather neutral and were forced into the alliance but Russia’s imperial ambitions and wars of aggression.

Zelensky: We are facing one of the most dangerous periods in Ukrainian history, a choice between losing our dignity and freedom and losing US support. We choose dignity. My answer is my oath of office. I did not betray Ukraine in Feb 2022 and we won’t betray in now.

🇺🇸 DOLLAR STAYS STRONG AS TRUMP TURNS UP THE TRADE HEAT Trump's tax megabill passed and he's about to slap tariffs on Japan and others who haven’t made a deal. Markets shrugged off the $3.4 trillion price tag and partied on solid jobs numbers and stock market highs. The Fed’s not cutting rates anytime soon and the dollar’s flexing hard. Trump says tariff letters go out Friday. Countries better check their inbox. Investors are betting the dollar's just getting started. Source: Reuters

ASIA IS DUMPING THE DOLLAR... AND THIS TIME, IT’S SERIOUS The U.S. dollar is still the prom king of global finance - but lately, it’s looking a little less popular at the international lunch table. Countries across Asia, especially in ASEAN, are moving away from dollar dominance. Their new strategy? Trade more in local currencies, cut out the middleman, and stop getting whiplash every time America throws a political tantrum. Why now? Trump’s trade war vibes, sanctions-as-a-hobby, and a dollar that’s lost over 8% in value this year aren’t helping. Plus, when central banks realize the dollar can be used as a weapon, they start shopping for other options. Since 2000, the dollar’s share of global reserves has dropped from 70% to under 58%. It’s still the biggest game in town, but now it’s playing defense. Meanwhile, China and the BRICS crew are building their own payment systems. Japan, Korea, and Taiwan are hedging like it’s their full-time job. And everyone’s looking at gold like it’s the last stable character in a drama-filled cast. No, the dollar’s not dethroned yet... but the breakup playlist has started. Source: CNBC

I was with Elon nearly every single day during Model 3 hell. This included Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, his birthday and nearly missing his brother’s wedding. He left the factory to fly straight there, barely making it as he was helping resolve production challenges and being present with the associates and the whole team. From countless firsthand experiences I cannot begin to describe the immense personal sacrifice and commitment made by Elon, directly from the front line. I took the photo below, on the day of his birthday, at close to midnight. We were stationed at paint ingress, station 1911, resolving the constraint for the entire production system. The tenacity and willingness to perform any job and drive us to excel is unwavering. When I started Giga Texas, Elon slept onsite for a period of time. His direct ask, which people on the team didn’t even believe at first: “Your goal is to not let me sleep. The machines need to be running 24/7.” It was an awesome fire to have lit and drove all of us. From the initial site you see below with mining pits that were 30’ deep to producing 1,000 cars a week in less than 2 years.

Elon Musk literally slept uncomfortably on the factory floor during Tesla's challenging Model 3 production ramp in 2018, all these sacrifices showcases his unwavering dedication to Tesla. Tesla shareholders should vote for him, he won't let you down!

As I predicted, people are already talking about weaning themselves off of American weapons due to the disaster in the White House on February 28th. Weapon systems are one of America’s few high-tech exports and something we do very well. This makes me very sad .
Thomas C. Theiner@noclador

Let's talk about American weapons and how Europe has to wean itself off them. Part 1 of a long thread; this one looking at fighter jets. First and foremost: Europe has to get all American made components out of all weapon systems produced in Europe. If Trump can shut down a 1/24

@RyanMcbeth Europe listened. Irreversible damage done. We don’t need a drugged up, unaccountable madman to threaten to take away civilian systems we paid for. And we don’t need an authoritarian country to geofence weapons after we bought them! Thank you, America. You were a great friend.

@elonmusk Of course, you would know everything about illegal campaign contributions by foreigners, wouldn’t you, F elon ↖️🤡 ? Of course it is bad when other people do it. Doxing people for expressing their sentiments to YOUR actions is low, even by your standards. Gaslighting much 🔥?

An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla “protests”: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America. ActBlue funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix. ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations. This week, 7 ActBlue senior officials resigned, including the associate general counsel. If you know anything about this, please post in replies. Thanks, Elon.

I might as well join the fun: Last week I did ten loads of laundry; mopped the floors downstairs; swept the outside; vacuumed all the carpets upstairs; changed sheets on 3 beds; cleaned 3 bathrooms(including toilets); made 3 meals a day; cleaned up after those 3 meals a day; checked in on my neighbor… and I’m retired !!!😂😀see we can all account for our past week’s activity. It’s that simple!
