If you missed Amazon in 1999, Nebius is giving you another chance today (Save this).
Amazon didn't win because it sold books. but rather won because it built the infrastructure layer the entire internet eventually ran on top of.
Nebius is doing the exact same thing for AI and most people have no idea it exists yet.
Nebius isn’t just renting GPU clusters but rather built the full AI stack from silicon to API, including Nvidia infrastructure, enterprise cloud, managed compute, storage and Token Factory.
They also built an end to end physical AI and robotics cloud with Nvidia, something no other neocloud has done.
But the AI cloud is only one piece of what Nebius actually owns.
They also own Toloka, one of the world's leading AI data labeling and human feedback platforms, the picks and shovels business behind every major AI model that needs training data.
They own TripleTen, a fast growing online tech education platform teaching people to become data scientists and software engineers across the US and Latin America.
They own Avride, an autonomous vehicles and robotics division developing self driving technology.
And they hold a 28% stake in ClickHouse, the real time analytical database that Anthropic, Meta, and Capital One run their AI pipelines on, now valued at $15 billion with Nebius's stake alone worth approximately $4.2 billion.
These businesses generate real revenue today and represent entirely separate growth vectors that the market is largely ignoring while pricing Nebius purely as a GPU rental company.
Nebius has contracted over 3 gigawatts of power globally, with campuses in Missouri, Pennsylvania, Finland, and three UK locations tied to British government deals, the only neocloud building at true global geographic scale.
And unlike every competitor, Nebius has $9.3 billion in cash with no meaningful net debt, while CoreWeave carries $25 billion in debt.
If rates spike, if a customer churns or if the neocloud consolidation gets brutal, Nebius survives and acquires while everyone else prays.
Amazon at its early stages looked expensive, confusing, and risky but the investors who understood it was building the infrastructure layer for everything that came next made generational returns.
Nebius is building that same infrastructure layer for AI globally, with a fortress balance sheet, the full vertical stack and a portfolio of businesses that most investors haven't even discovered yet.
Extremely bullish on Nebius and make sure to follow me @melvininvests

Most neoclouds will fail but Nebius will be the king of them all (Save this).
The problem is there are over 100 emerging neoclouds trying to survive in a market where the economics only work at scale, with cheap financing and investment grade customers.
A lot of those names aren't real technology companies, they're Bitcoin miners who converted their rigs, slapped an AI label on a pitch deck and called themselves neoclouds.
They have the wrong hardware, weak customer relationships, expensive debt and no head start on power.
The consolidation coming for them is going to be brutal acquired for pennies, run out of money, or shut down.
The ones that survive started early, locked down power years in advance, and secured investment grade customers before the market got crowded.
Nebius started building in 2023, while everyone else was figuring out what a neocloud was, Nebius was signing power contracts, designing GPU clusters, and locking down the two assets that are now nearly impossible to replicate.
But here is what truly separates Nebius from every other neocloud on that list, they built the full vertical AI stack from silicon to API and no other neocloud on earth has done that.
The 100 emerging clouds in that chart rent you GPUs, Nebius engineered an entirely different business.
At the bottom of the stack is proprietary bare metal GPU infrastructure, InfiniBand-interconnected clusters running H100, H200, GB200, and Vera Rubin NVL72 starting H2 2026, housed in data centers designed from scratch for AI.
Above that sits a full enterprise cloud platform managed Kubernetes, managed Slurm via Soperator, 100 GBps high speed storage, serverless compute that spins up instantly and real time production observability dashboards.
Above that sits Token Factory, their enterprise inference and post training layer where customers fine tune, distill and deploy open-source models directly to production without touching a single server with MLflow tracking every experiment and checkpoint automatically.
And at the very top, in partnership with Nvidia, Nebius built an end to end physical AI and robotics cloud covering simulation, training and real world deployment at scale on the NVIDIA Physical AI Data Factory.
Every other neocloud sells you one layer while Nebius owns the whole thing, raw compute, cloud platform, inference, post training, robotics, and a curated application marketplace on top.
And this morning Nebius went even further, announcing an asset-light model where external partners finance and build the infrastructure while Nebius supplies the technology, operations, and customers.
Every competitor is constrained by how fast they can build, Nebius just removed that constraint, turning their full stack platform into a global franchise that scales with partner capital rather than their own balance sheet.
If you are not adding Nebius here, you deserve to lose money and make sure to follow me @MelvinInvests for underrated AI Infra plays.
