lowkey one of the best RWA threads i’ve seen in a while because it explains the real infrastructure side clearly. most people still think tokenization is just: put asset onchain. but this thread shows the difficult part was never the token itself. it was connecting: → provenance → shipment records → verification → financial structuring → settlement → real-world documentation into one system institutions can actually trust. the “reference, not replication” part is the real alpha here too. because they’re not trying to destroy existing trade systems overnight. they’re building infrastructure layers that connect fragmented systems together without breaking operational workflows. huge difference. instead of forcing old trade systems to disappear overnight, @Brickken is building infrastructure that connects fragmented systems together while preserving operational integrity. that’s a way more realistic path for institutional adoption. and honestly this is why the thread is worth reading fully. it shows how tokenization is slowly evolving from: simple digitization → into actual financial infrastructure. where: documentation becomes verifiable, capital connects directly to authenticated assets, and trade finance becomes programmable. that’s way bigger than just “tokenizing assets” tbh feels like Brickken is quietly positioning itself as infrastructure for how RWAs may actually operate at scale long term.
