Welcome back to another bonus point + DEFCON round up after last night’s OPTA update! 👉🏻Verbruggen just about hangs on to his 2 bonus points! Boscagli gained 2 CBI points (+1bps) tying him level with Verbruggen in the bps. Bad luck for Kadioglu owners though. He failed to hit DEFCON by just 1 and also loses his bonus point. Kadioglu lost a successful tackle (-2bps) but gained a valuable interception (+1bps). Ultimately this net loss means he misses out on the bonus by a margin of 2bps. 👉🏻The final bonus therefore reads: (3): Wieffer (2): Verbruggen + Boscagli 👉🏻Declan Rice looks set to gain 1 bonus point! One of Rice’s key passes was deemed a “big chance created” (+3ps). 👉🏻Kroupi loses 1 bonus point as a result of this, despite gaining a successful dribble (+1bps). 👉🏻Senesi did hit DEFCON after the update! He gained a crucial clearance. 👉🏻Van Dijk was comfortably 5bps clear for 1 bonus prior to the update but later received a “big chance missed” (-3bps). Despite the hefty loss from Virgil, the bonus points remained unchanged in the Liverpool game. Additionally there was no DEFCON changes. 👉🏻Both KDH + Ndiaye failed to hit DEFCON in the update. 👉🏻We also had zero impactful changes to the bonus points in the Everton game I’ve missed posting these! I’ve also recently considered making short videos summarising the changes at some point - if that’s of interest to anyone? We do have a Monday game this week too, meaning any late OPTA changes tonight will count towards today’s matches! So I’ll be back tomorrow morning with another one of these! 😀 #FPL

The problem with FPL managers is their tendency to chase lost points. DCL has scored 5 games in a row, but only now will people start to bring him in. Hate to break it to you, but you’ve missed the boat. You’re meant to buy players BEFORE they hit form, not 5 weeks later.
