@LucyABeaumont @claires @NSPCC I got my lobes done at @Claires when I was 14. The back of the earring fell out the gun, so the earring didn’t release and the whole gun fell apart. I was sat in the window for ages (in pain) whilst the girls fluffed about trying to put the gun back together to release my ear.

@KirstyFabregas @LucyABeaumont @claires I’ve been in Claire’s in Bromley while a baby is having their ears pierced. It was the most heartbreaking cry 😢 If I see someone come in to have it done I now immediately leave

@LucyABeaumont @claires I was in @claires Bromley last week- a baby screaming loudly being held tightly by her dad- I found it very distressing. I think she gave up in the end but the fact she tried for at least 5 mins despite the screaming made me feel sick.
