Is that a particular version of creationism (the Christian or Biblical version), or the concept in general (which could also include wide ranging beliefs, like Hinduism and New Age spirituality)?

I'm an actual evolutionary biologist with a degree and all that. I've debated with creationists about all the usual talking points. I 100% believe evolution is where humanity came from. But.....
The average person who does, does not understand evolution and has the same blind faith in it as religious people. Evolution is NOT easy to understand mechanistically for many, and they just parrot. I think for most people belief in some higher power is no less logical than the average /r/atheists understanding of evolution.

@jjc_00000 @Timcast This is taken completely out of context from the article. The whole point of the article is to show that political murders are so few that tweaking a data point or 2 gives wildly different results. In one graph he kept 9/11 data in, in another he left took out Oklahoma
