I've thought a bit about this notion of "Adjusted BPM" since last season when Collin Murray-Boyles had a really high BPM, despite being on a very bad team
I thought it was really impressive & made me a little higher on him as a prospect - since BPM seems to be impacted a bit by how good of a team you happen to be on
Of course, CMB ended up having a very good rookie season. That high Adjusted BPM of his was a clue that he did so many little things well on the court to impact winning, despite being a small-ish big w/ a very limited 3 ball
Well, this season we've got 2 guys in particular who had very high BPM on bad teams - Hannes Steinbach & Ebuka Okorie so I was curious how their adjusted BPM stacks up w/ the other top prospects in this class
Included CMB's Adjusted BM from last season for a historical reference point
*BPM - Team's Average BPM = Adjusted BPM

Each of those rosters should be asking the question
“Do we currently have a singular 1A or 1B caliber talent for a future contender?”
The answer for all three is no
Dybansta, Boozer, Peterson all have that potential

The closest answer is AD, buts he’s never been 1A, is 33, and injury prone
JJJ and Lauri are in and past through prime with no true difference making playoff reference
Trae’s player profile needs a lot of high talent (I.e Knicks) to make a serious run

One thing the Jazz will have this year they’ve never had before is a death lineup. Key, DP, Ace, Lauri, JJJ. Good luck stopping that when Utah rolls it out

@ravenwizardd @Tjonesonthenba Yeah which is why you’re the goat and know ball. Also, washington gotta feel good after watching the ECF, you guys can easily be there next year and if not the upcoming years fs. We’re both in such good spots

Easily.
We had the #2 defense with JJJ in the lineup
We had the #16 defense with Kessler in the lineup
Add them both end, should easily slip them in top 10.
Especially if Ace improves, Rookie is solid defensively, and any potential offseason defensive signings
