@AirwolfRocks84@cspanwj@jeannasmialek@nytimes@chiproytx The heart of the problem is the US$, which is fiat currency. Federal govt has a monopoly on US$ creation which it and can print in unlimited supply. Make the US$ as good as gold again!

@club_ed8@cspanwj@jeannasmialek@nytimes Cutting spending will help bring down inflation as my House Rep @chiproytx says. That’s like asking D.C. to be responsible . I won’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
@cspanwj@jeannasmialek@nytimes Conundrum: Federal Reserve tries to fight inflation by raising % rates. Problem is that rising % rates on US Tsy debt means Treasury must pay higher coupon payments to investors who buy that debt. n other words, more US$ currency reserves are pushed out into the banking system.
@cspanwj@jeannasmialek@nytimes Hasn't the Fed Chairman actually stated that employment is too high causing people to spend too much as the reason for high inflation?
Fixing problems takes solutions & investment, which takes money. But once fixed, the rewards can be life changing. Here’s an example on an individual level. Gov’t can do the same thing on a social level (public health) if you elect good representatives & fund them. @cspanwj
@EnragedApostate@cspanwj@jeannasmialek@nytimes@cspan Texas and Florida are successful by spending and cutting back wisely. NY and CA are hemorrhaging people as they fail. Cutting wasteful spending is a good thing.

@MiniWhoop@ChackamoFeena@cspanwj@capanwj how does it feel Myland..watching your life savings getting lower and lower by the week? Are you still saying people were dumb to have bailed out? Bet you wish you had,
@cspanwj@jeannasmialek@nytimes Because most Americans are White, most unemployed people are White. Some White people refer to unemployment rates by race to assign employment worthiness to White Americans while ignoring the number of actually unemployed White people.
SAT| @jeannasmialek, Federal Reserve & economy reporter for @nytimes, joins us to discuss new jobs numbers and the latest news from the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department.
