Addressed the Ugandan community, comrades and well-wishers living in Boston city, Massachusetts, USA about the status of our struggle back home. I am inspired to see them still united and committed to building a better Uganda; a cause towards which they have made and continue to make a significant contribution!
Gen muhoozi Kainerugaba, Whoever is telling you that you will be the next president of Uganda akulimba (lying to you) Moses, Akena, Oryem, all were in state house, and non of them got that chance, then who are to dream beyond them, yet they're very wise people than you. nkidemu🤔

There is a well-worn playbook that politicians turn to, the moment they feel the pressure of public opinion closing in. It does not rely on remorse, transparency, or genuine sympathy. Instead, it is built on something far more calculated: the deliberate manufacture of distraction and delay.
Power-greedy dictator, Yoweri Museveni has returned to this playbook time and again, refining it and applying it in moments of crisis.
Amid growing public outcry over the reported death of his wife, Janet Kataaha Museveni, he appears to have once again resorted to diversion. According to these claims, Christopher Okello Onyum was sent to carry out a brutal attack on children in Ggaba, with the intention of shifting public attention.
The alleged strategy was to redirect national emotion away from questions surrounding his wife’s situation toward the shock and grief provoked by the killing of children.
Amid mounting public concern and persistent questions surrounding the death of his wife, Janet Kataaha, that pattern appears to have resurfaced. Public demands had grown louder, more insistent, and increasingly difficult to ignore. We the people were not asking vague questions, we were demanding clarity, transparency, and proof.
What followed, according to these claims, was not an answer, but a diversion.
Museveni jumps in; Christopher Okello Onyum was deployed and dispatched to carry out a brutal and deeply shocking terror act: the killing of 04 children in Ggaba. The intention was chillingly strategic.
Few events provoke stronger, more immediate emotional reactions than violence against children. Such tragedy commands headlines, dominates public discourse, and overwhelms competing narratives.
In that moment, attention shifts. Questions fade. Outrage is redirected.
The death of children would generate a far more visceral national response than the reported passing of an elderly expired mistress, Kataaha By introducing a more emotionally charged crisis, the original issue got buried under the weight of fresh grief and anger.
Meanwhile, the core questions remain unanswered. Denial/ deception is not a solution in the prevailing situation.
Where is Janet Kataaha’s body, after it was repatriated from the US mortuary?
-Uganda Sovereignty Bill
-government says protection
-lawyers say danger
-debate intensifies
-Attorney General
Kiryowa Kiwanuka (@KiryowaKk)
-defends the bill
-calls it necessary
-to stop foreign interference
-senior lawyers respond:
-“you are wrong”
-not about protection
-but control
-core issue:
-what is sovereignty?
-government power?
-or people’s power?
-lawyers’ argument:
-sovereignty belongs to citizens
-not the State
-not the Executive
-the bill:
-expands government authority
-centralizes control
-over funding
-over associations
-over civic activity
-key concern #1:
-definition of “foreigner” too broad
-includes Ugandans abroad
-includes many institutions
-key concern #2:
-anyone receiving foreign support
-can be labeled an “agent”
-must register
-must seek approval
-key concern #3:
-heavy penalties
-up to 20 years in prison
-massive fines
-lawyers say:
-this is not regulation
-it is overreach
-it doesn’t protect sovereignty
-it reshapes it
-risk:
-citizens lose autonomy
-state gains discretion
-power shifts upward
-bigger fear:
-constitutional conflict
-Article 1 says power belongs to the people
-bill may override that principle
-economic angle:
-affects NGOs
-affects businesses
-affects diaspora remittances
-affects daily transactions
-the contradiction:
-law claims to defend Uganda
-but may restrict Ugandans
-lawyers’ conclusion:
-a law that limits citizens
-cannot protect their sovereignty
-final framing:
-this isn’t just a policy debate
-it’s a question of
-who truly holds power in Uganda
-and whether that is changing
🚨UPDATE: Today in Luweero district, I witnessed the send off of Hon.Hellen Nakimuli thousands and thousands of mourners turned up.
Hon.Hellen Nakimuli will never be seen again besides her video clips and photos
The government has frustrated the postmortem report until her burial soon or later I know they will forge one and publish it.
Rest in peace Hon.Hellen Nakimuli you have been a good friend to many of us, may the almighty God forgive your sins 🙏
Until we meet again
@ZaakeFrancis@nakimuli_helen Some of you politics is bringing out the worst in you. You need a detailed report as who? A family member? At least she had a choice to choose a hospital, do you know how many ugandans are dying in Health Centre iii and others.? Not even attended too? It's sad
Until we meet again, Hon. @nakimuli_helen.
How can we lay you to rest when the truth remains hidden? We demand a full, not partial, report on what happened in that operating room. Rest in power our bestie🌹
Appreciation tweet for NINA ROZ.
Many of you thought she only wanted an NUP card to contest for the Ssembabule District WMP seat.
But even after being rigged in broad daylight (just like me), she never gave up. She’s everywhere, advocating for a better Uganda.
Oli GUMITE nyo!
@MpuugaYaly36540 These people are colleagues at work and even if you do what nothing will change that. People mau disagree but it doesn't make them enemies. It's a heart like yours that fails the community most. You would Denny your child food because he doesn't agree ?

@jssenkandwa If you all had guts to stand for each patient that dies in any medical facility in the country then, then we wouldn't have to wait for the death of politicians and other prominent people to question authenticity, failed procedure, negligence etc. Wake up.. the deed is done
Well, it’s common knowledge now that the late had allegedly gone for myomectomy (fibroids surgery) but she did not make it off the surgical table. Alexandria medical Center you have a responsibility to explain to her family how your patient died.
Hellen was a my acquaintance and have been talking mainly via phone, and I have some questions to;
Can you avail to Parliament and the family a pre- and post surgery plan to help the family fully understand what lead to Hellen Nakimuli’s death?
What was the role of the lead surgeon, nurses and anesthesiology and how each executed their assignment?
What kind of procedure was used I.e general surgery or laparoscopic?
If the surgery was laparoscopic, how did the team manage the effects of carbon dioxide insufflation (used to inflate the abdomen)?
Was it a case of air embolism?
In this case, during laparoscopic surgery, gas used to inflate the abdomen can enter the bloodstream, which is considered the most common cause of sudden death on the operating table during such procedures. How was this handled?
Anesthesia Planning: The anesthesia team had to review the patient's vitals, lab results, and health history to determine the safest method of anesthesia. Can the facility present what drugs they used (Propofol or Sevoflurane), and was it Monitored Anesthesia Care or General Anesthesia? NB: I am a layman in this field learning from the experts while doing my job.
Someone advice me here ,We all know when a member of Parliament dies the body has to be taken to the parliamentary Venue for the Last eye. Why this Hon Nakimuli was taken direct to her ancestry home. @Parliament_Ug@Naturinda96@KampalaJournal@UGLawyer
Are the allegations true that the wife to Haruna Kasolo, who is NRM's National VC - Central region , Buganda for M7, Dr Aisha Kasolo, works at Alexandra medical centre, as head of operations? The same hospital where @NUP_Ug MP Hellen Nakimuli died mysteriously? Nzena NKAKAANA😭
So called Dr Castro kisuule if someone can die of just a minor surgery what about a major one , in my opinion this hospital and all people who work in this hospital should be investigated yes people die but in politics never take anything that happens lightly
Our archbishop before going to bed everyday 🙏🙏
