Today, I flagged off Eid items for our comrades in prison ahead of tomorrow’s Eid celebrations and later visited Luzira Women’s Prison and Luzira Remand Prison while other leaders visited the other prisons. Our duty to each other remains unwavering. Eid Mubarak 🕌📿

In continuing with our tradition, the leadership of the @NUP_Ug this evening held an iftar dinner with our Muslim brothers and sisters during this month of Ramadhan. Before then, prayers were held for our comrades who are troubled by different forms of persecution. Grateful to all our members and leaders who are ensuring that all activities continue to take place despite the state of fear and intimidation. WE SHALL OVERCOME.
