I looked up what exactly Priyanka Chopra did that she is getting hate. Javier Bardem shouted unnecessary political slogan and she looked on. She is getting hate for merely standing there and looking on. She was there on the biggest stage of the global cinema. I am not a fan of her but she has achieved the kind of international success that Indian actors have tried for many generations and failed. From Victor Banerjee to Irfan Khan to Om Puri to Anil Kapur, they all tried to get the big Hollywood break but couldn't land more than a few minor roles. PC has achieved the biggest hollywood success and Indian actor could think of. And she did that by picking projects where she played strong woman characters and not the exotic south asian beautiful damsel in distress.
