There was a bug that allowed you to use focus to get a HUGE boost while gliding
Last week this was fixed but players were unhappy so now PA added it as a real mechanic with a new skill!

I hope you now see why i'm so negative towards ubisoft with how they handled the post launch of AC Shadows. They would market fixes in their roadmap such as 'headgear in cutscenes' as new features that they released months later.
Meanwhile Pearl Abyss see people on twitter request it, and instantly get to work in days. Mind you, this is their FIRST ever single player game.

There are bird mounts in Crimson Desert called Kuku Bird Hatchlings. They are fast, unique mounts found in the Steel Mountains, specifically east of the Spire of Insight. These birds are ridden by Blinding Arrow soldiers. To obtain one as a temporary mount, you must defeat the soldier, then quickly chase and mount the bird before it runs away.
Kuku Bird Hatchlings can be used to glide from tall heights and land safely on the ground. You won’t be able to fly upward with the Kuku Birds, but you can control the direction while falling.
