Emmanuel Akot is a Division I–ready JUCO prospect who brings a high level of production and versatility on both ends of the floor. Akot spent his previous season with the University of Western Ontario, where he played a key role in the Mustangs’ successful 17–6 campaign. He averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting an efficient 48% from the field and 36% from three-point range. Akot is a high-motor guard who uses his length and versatility to impact the game in multiple ways. Offensively, he is a confident shot-maker who can score both on and off the dribble from beyond the arc. He shows strong on-ball ability, consistently getting downhill and operating effectively in pick-and-roll situations in the half-court. His ability to read defenses and make quick decisions allows him to create for both himself and others. Off the ball, Akot plays with great pace and purpose, working hard to create open looks and using his size to shoot over defenders.
