I’m disheartened by all the people attacking a woman who resigned to care for her husband with cancer. I’m equally disheartened by those who mischaracterized her resignation and attributed it to reasons other than the ones she gave. The worst of humanity came out today, and it was almost exclusively the left. Tulsi Gabbard made a choice to put her husband first while he undergoes the battle of his life. I wish them nothing but good things, restored health, and recovery. I wish that was all anyone wished them. It wasn’t. There are too many democrats in Congress who attacked her today to post them all here. That’s incredibly sad. Honestly, people should be ashamed of themselves for the way they behaved.
