Jason Eck is an underrated name that could get a head coaching job at the P4 level soon. -16’-18’: South Dakota State OL Coach -‘19-21’: Takes over as OC and wins AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year -22’-24’: Named Idaho HC and leads team to first winning season in 6 years and Vandals make the FCS playoffs for three straight seasons. 2025: New Mexico HC. 5-3 and one win away from becoming bowl eligible for the first time since 2016. Was projected to finish 2nd to last in the conference. Dude knows how to turn programs around. He’s only 48… so I’d take a chance on him. Very fundamental guy.

The biggest benefits to a Unified High School S&C program 1. Year-round training. There’s a plan for constant development 2. Raises the floor. Training limits the ups & downs of talent by raising avg 3. Builds Athletic Culture. S&C coach impacts everyone, not just one team

I have yet to see any athlete “catch up” in the summer from skipping training all year. This isn’t to say they won’t make great progress from showing up for 3 months consistently, because they can... But kids who skipped in the first place were already okay with being mediocre.

I really don’t understand, as a high school kid, how you can watch the NCAA men’s tournament and think you don’t need to be in the weight room.
