Socio-economic conditions and IQ are linked in both directions. Better education, nutrition, healthcare, & safer childhood environments improve IQ development, while higher IQ supports better educational outcomes, productivity, income, and health decisions. Poverty does not simply reflect low IQ, it can also actively suppress it.

Africa's problem is the miniscule 120+ IQ elite are not aware, or refuse to acknowledge, that the overwhelming majority of their fellow citizens have an IQ less than 90. When we say Africa has low IQ they get offended because they think you are attacking them personally.

People are asking why Nigeria is in the condition it’s in? The reason is simple societies are shaped by average people rather than the exceptional. One lawful person in a bad neighborhood does not change the neighborhood, but rather the average of persons changes the Neighbourhood

He went quiet for a second. Then said, “I’m sorry.” Not defensive. Not angry. Just… tired. He explained. His wife had been in the hospital for weeks. She couldn’t sleep without background noise. Doctors told him to keep things “normal” for her when she got discharged. So every night, he played the same music they used to fall asleep to. At the same volume. Said silence made her panic. I didn’t know what to say. I asked why he didn’t just explain when I knocked. He paused. Then said, “I didn’t think you’d care.” That part stayed with me. I went downstairs the next day. Knocked again. This time he opened the door fully. The music was playing. But softer. There was a hospital bed in the living room. She was asleep. I stood there for a second… then just nodded. I didn’t mention the complaint. He didn’t mention the call. We both understood. I bought earplugs that evening.

When I was in my 20s living in Houston Texas, I had this neighbor who played loud music every night. Not just loud, 2 a.m., walls shaking loud. I knocked once, he didn’t answer. Second time, he opened the door, barely looked at me and said: “Give me 10 minutes.” Closed the door in my face. Music kept going. So I reported him to the building manager. Left a calm complaint. Nothing dramatic. Just: “Consistent noise at night. Disturbing sleep.” Manager said they’d handle it. That night, 1:47 a.m. My phone rang. Unknown number. I picked up. “…you reported me?” "Yes?" I replied.

UPDATE: The Uganda Medical Association (UMA) has filed a lawsuit at the High Court Civil Division in Twed Towers against the government over the withdrawal of allowances for Senior House Officers (SHOs) and medical interns. UMA says the Ministry of Health directed public hospital heads to stop paying allowances to medical interns, SHOs on government payroll, refugee interns and those on government scholarships. Interns and SHOs have previously gone on strike, citing financial strain as they rely on the allowances for transport, food and accommodation. #MonitorUpdates 📸: @lbrahim_Kavuma

IRAN is a very wise country and I really salute the smartness of the IRGC. 😂 Trump blockaded Iran and has stopped over 27 ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports. Iran got angry. But the IRGC didn't attack Trump's blockade; they're instead, attacking civilian vessels from other countries. Is that not smart? 😂

@JohnSimpsonNews Really ??? Where is the evidence ??? Do you not think that perhaps she got killed because she was right in the middle of an active war zone - where civilians are warned [by Israel] to stay away ??

The body of the Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found by rescuers after several hours of digging in the rubble after an Israeli strike. She is the fourth journalist to have been killed by Israeli forces in seven weeks. This is why the word ‘journacide’ is now being used.

1. You didn’t call Uganda Police, you directly called the OC - Kigowa. Not so many Ugandans have the privilege of having the numbers of the Officer in Charge of their nearest police station. 2. There’s more UPDF there than Police, so maybe you’re thanking the wrong people.
Thee Real~MÙKÏGÀ☕️🍭@aggiekabaraire

I want to thank @PoliceUg of Kigoowa -Ntinda that acted with urgency at 2:50am after we called them after being attacked by thieves at home. Let’s be vigilant. These guys had pangas , hammers and petrol ready to attack. Photos below are the culprits and police.

@AlanBesiime @cnni What is tribe? Oh you think buganda is a tribe or busoga or bunyoro? FYI, a tribe is an equivalent of a clan. However, each one those 3 nations consists of more than one clan. Buganda consists of 52 of such. We are nations not tribes. The white man used that to belittle you.Wakeup

Walking through the compound that houses the Kasubi Tombs, the main path leads to what should be an entrance. But it ends at one of the layers of thatch covering the 25-foot structure known as Muzibu Azala Mpanga. It looks like a giant basket turned upside down. If it weren’t for the rows of shoes laid neatly outside, you’d never know there was a way in. cnn.it/3QeESJn

If your entire political analysis begins and ends with tribe, then you are not a serious person. You are brain dead! With brain dead politics and paranoia. And before you start that battle, remember this region’s history is deeply mixed. Many of the identities you scream about have Tutsi blood than your shallow hatred can comprehend. Including your own.

@cnni Yes its buganda kingdom, the largest kingdom in africa. It is a nation twice the size of Belgium, morethan one & half times the size of Netherlands or Denmark. If it wasn't the British that foils its desire for self determination through puppet Museveni, Buganda would be a beacon.

An innocent child is dead. Whether it was a deliberate shot, shrapnel, or yet another ‘accident’ matters for the investigation, but it does not erase the wider pattern.

@CarriePrejean1 DO YOU NOT EVEN CARE THAT IT’S AN OUTRIGHT LIE!!!??? DO YOU NOT EVEN CARE THAT THIS INNOCENT CHILD WAS SHOT BY HOUTHI MUSLIM TERRORISTS IN YEMEN IN 2020!!!??? You’re sick! And you call yourself a Christian. Such a joke. You only bring shame to the great name of Jesus Christ!

TRUE! “Best interests of the child” applies clearly to a born child, not directly to a fetus as an independent legal decision-maker in most clinical settings. In obstetrics, the competent pregnant woman, not the fetus, is the patient with autonomy( decision powers). That is why a mother can refuse a cesarean section even if fetal distress is obvious, besides forcing surgery is ethically & legally far more complex than treating a born child But in practice, ....How will you pay for this treatment??.....if the parent says no....things get complicated, unless of course, patient is insured. And there is a willing other person to take care of the child.

Some time ago, I begged someone to consent to a cesarean section. There was a clear fetal indication for CS. She declined. She ultimately gave birth normally, but the baby didn’t score well. She even celebrated that she had been coerced into a CS but ultimately gave birth normally, that is what she told fellow mothers in labour. A year later, I met her, the child hasn’t even sat without support. I felt sad. I couldn’t even talk with her. Some things drain you emotionally.

@AlanBesiime @kipkoecheruiyot Dr stated there was CLEAR fetal indication for CS. Some people think having birth via CS makes them less of a woman (for religious/cultural reasons). It is the doctor's job to provide informed options and then act on the patient's wishes NOT win hearts and minds.

@TheBoysPub @kipkoecheruiyot A competent adult has the right to refuse treatment, even when that refusal may lead to serious harm or death. Doctors are not owners of patients, they are just advisors and fiduciaries.
