@DirtyTesLa Not only does this add an unnecessary turn, it then passes a more direct path, and then tries to turn into the alley rather than going to the front of the house. @aelluswamy @elonmusk @Tesla it does so many thing right, but we are definitely in a march of 9s.

Tesla isn’t getting out of the car business right now lol. They’re simply discontinuing two vehicles that accounted for ~1.8% of global unit sales, to make room for a product (Optimus) that could generate multiple orders of magnitude more revenue at full scale.
Tesla will continue to sell cars right now because it's providing the cash the company needs to fund their Robotaxi & Optimus projects.
Tesla said they will continue to support the Model S/X, including parts, for as long as those vehicle are in the fleet. The same is true for all the other vehicles currently in their lineup (which aren't being discontinued right now btw).

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla I’m thinking of canceling my Model Y order since Tesla is get of the car business. Resale value and parts availability will be a huge concern

When there are thousands of Cybercabs running in Austin (and eventually other cities), why would demand in that area for vehicles on Uber’s network not drop like a rock, especially when those vehicles cost 3–5X more and are more expensive per mile for riders?

@C_S_Skeptic You are assuming that the car behind was going to stop in time. Getting to the left if clear and flat enough to drive on might have been the best option. A multiview of the dashcam could remove some of those assumptions, but with this video alone its hard to say this wasn't ideal

What WE see here is the car panicking after not responding to a column of brake lights.
Trusting that car will be a huge mistake eventually.
