@StockSavvyShay Totally agree with you that what Anthropic has done in less than five years is just insane, but I don’t think that comparing a hot private market valuation to moment in time public market valuations is the best comparison. Very interesting tidbit though!

Absolutely wild that Anthropic was founded less than five years ago is already devouring an entire software category and is worth more by market cap than all of these blue-chip SaaS companies combined: • $CRM $154B • $CRWD $96B • $NOW $85B • $SNOW $43B

Everyone is talking about the Square layoffs but just a reminder... - Robinhood has 2500 employees (market cap of $70b) - Coinbase has 4500 employees (market cap $50b) Square (market cap $30b) just cut to 6000 employees. I wouldnt say this is all the sudden a symbol of AI transformation and leanness.

Specifically called out in the presser: - Agentic Shopping and Commerce Experiences - PayPal will be one of the key PSP across products like Google Cloud, Google Ads, and Google Play. - PayPal will use Google AI products to enhance services and security. - PayPal will partner on a deeper level with Google cloud. "The partnership will bring together PayPal's global payment infrastructure, data-driven personalization and trusted identity solutions, alongside Google's AI expertise to deliver new AI experiences. The companies, along with many others, are also advocating for the adoption of best practices such as Google’s Agent Payments Protocol (AP2), a secure, open, scalable solution paving the way for the future of agentic commerce." The two have been working closely together for a while. The market hasn't cared. It thinks PayPal is dead. It's wrong.

@Couch_Investor @acce I feel that with the amount of FCF the company generates and at the multiple it trades at $PYPL is one of the greatest risk/rewards in the market. And maybe just maybe Chriss & co. can get a little more top line acceleration too with all of the innovation.

I might sound like a broken record, and that's fine. But $PYPL remains one of the most undervalued names out there. If you think this company isn't growing, think again. If you think @acce isn't the right CEO for the company, think again. And if you need answers to all your questions about the company and where it is going, give Emir's piece a read. You'll be surprised how undervalued it is, even when you exclude the potential of ads, crypto/stablecoins. The only thing you need is patience. I'm long, and I strongly believe it will crush the market going forward.

@Kross_Roads I think that the earnings were very solid. Unfortunately, I think the stock got ahead of itself leading up to earnings, hence the drop. From a fundamental perspective, $71 makes more sense than ~$80 (for now). Wish it stayed lower pre-earnings for healthier reaction…
