NEW SIGNINGS ✍🏻 Eglinton Football Club are delighted to welcome Stewart McAlpine and Mikey McPeake to the club. Both players join us following their release from Irvine Meadow U20’s. Co-Manager Dougie Taylor knows both of them well, saying “When Mikey and Stewart showed interest in coming in, we were delighted. I know both boys well from my time working with them at Kilwinning Rangers U20’s. This season they have been plying their trade at Irvine Meadow U20’s and both lads, like the previous season, have been banging the goals in. They will certainly add to competition for places at the top end of the pitch and hopefully give us that extra bit of fire power we need to kick us on again to another level towards the end of the season.” Both Stewart and Mikey came off the bench against Port Glasgow Juniors on Saturday and both are in the squad for this Saturday’s game against Campbeltown.
