@draganCevapcici @AngloVarangian Serbia only became pro-Russia after America started supporting Muslim separatists. Before that, Yugoslavia literally preferred USA over USSR for most of the time.

Republicans are just now starting to figure out that Serbia is America's most natural ally in Europe. Serbs are the most Pro-Trump people in all of Europe. Serbia is one of the most socially conservative and Christian countries in Europe. Also, Serbs despise the Clintons just as much, if not more than MAGA.

🇺🇸🇷🇸 USA launched the Strategic Dialogue with Serbia today after canceling plans to start it with Kosovo in 2025. 🇽🇰 US State Dept. said it will start a Strategic Dialogue with Kosovo once Kosovo fulfills its "commitments" regarding the country's Serb community. Plans to launch a Strategic Dialogue with Kosovo were suspended following US concerns about the actions of Kosovo's Kurti government, which Washington said had increased "tensions and instability."

What if Troy wasn’t in Asia Minor at all? The more I study Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, the more I wonder whether the geography described by Homer fits Lezhë, northern Albania, better than the traditional location. A wide plain before the city, rivers, mountains behind it, a short distance to the Adriatic Sea, ancient ruins, local legends of Aeneas escaping with the women and children, and even place names such as Maja Trojan—all raise fascinating questions. I know this challenges the mainstream view, but history advances by examining evidence, not by avoiding difficult questions. I’m continuing to compare Homer’s descriptions, archaeology, geography, and local traditions. Whether this hypothesis ultimately proves correct or not, I believe it deserves careful and open-minded investigation. This idea is not mine alone. Albanian writers and researchers such as Alban Kraja, Fahri Xharra, and Sazan Guri, along with Serbian historian Milutin Jaćimović, French historian Mathieu Aref, have argued that Troy may have been located in the Lezhë–Shkodër region. Some of them also propose that the Trojan War was a conflict between ancient Pelasgian peoples rather than one connected to the later arrival/migration of Greek-speaking populations here in Balkan. Could Lezhë be the real Troy? What do you think?

Balkan polyphonic music origins are from Greek music, especially Greek Church chants. The polyphonic singing of Epirus and southern Albania probably developed substantially from, or in very close interaction with, Greek Byzantine church chant, especially its ἴσον. It then became a distinct regional village tradition with several independent vocal roles. UNESCO explicitly describes Albanian iso-polyphony as “derived from Byzantine church music.” The clearest connection is the ἴσον, the continuous drone beneath the melody, whose name and function correspond to the ison of Greek Byzantine chant. ich.unesco.org/en/projects/sa…

How Greeks culturally appropriate Albanian traditions (in this case iso-polyphony) 1. They don't have it. 2. They badly copy it. 3. They claim both have it. 4. They say they had it first. 5. They change texts and documents to accommodate it. Denounce them, wherever you see them

@LordMedaur Everything greeks say about albanians is projection. They are stuck between hating albanians and having them as their national heroes.

Avni Rrustemi is an Albanian national hero who assassinated the notorious traitor Essad Pasha Toptani in 1920. He killed Toptani for selling Albanian land to foreign enemies. History tends to be cyclical.
