And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

Unlike nuclear which produces a small, highly contained waste stream that is tracked and stored safely for the long term, wind turbines create massive composite blades that currently have no widely adopted recycling solution. Most end up in landfills, taking up space for decades and while other parts like steel and copper can be recycled, the sheer volume of materials needed for turbines (especially for large wind farms) creates a significant environmental burden. Wind turbines can also pose a threat to wildlife like birds and bats that sometimes will collide with the spinning blades, leading to injury or death. Nuclear waste is challenging but concentrated and engineered to be isolated, whereas wind turbine disposal is diffuse, growing and largely unsolved. Also, smoke does NOT come from a cooling tower like that. Good morning, you’re already the radiophobe of the day, congrats.☢️

@RobNeto_Author @WilliamShatner Depends on your need and if you can charge at home. My EV can do only 400 KM and my commute daily is 200. In the last 2 years I have been at a charge station only 3 times though.

@WilliamShatner That's the main thing keeping me from going all electric. The range isn't sufficient to justify it yet.

@WilliamShatner How many times a year do you do these type of drives. Most drives are around your house where after every trip you recharge at your home charger. I have been in the last year only twice to a public charger whereas a combustion driver has to go to a gas station weekly.

@Sid_footyF1 Mmm not all sure. Max is a tech driver that knows how to manage both physical and virtual cars. If he says this isn’t racing I would give that some weight. Not because he is loosing but he cares for tech driving. Combustion and looking for the limits. This is now gone.

Let's be honest, the ground effect regs were terrible but Max loved it because he was winning. Current regs are way better, have given us some good W2W racing and it's so easy to follow the car ahead. Max is salty because he is now at the receiving end of what other drivers were
