Hi @P_DriscollW5W13 @RuthMayorcas! I nearly didn’t make it to yesterday’s consultation on Boston Rd. This is Elthorne Park Rd (a side street off Boston Rd) where @_petermason ripped out the LTNs endangering hundreds of school kids & parkgoers every day. Just sort it out!

So where to begin. The police claim I breached my CPN conditions by posting pictures of the barber on SM. Apparently, and unbeknown to me, this doesn't only apply to Ealing Broadway Ward as I thought, but the whole of the UK. I mean, just on a practical note, say for example I was at a football match and took a picture of my son. Would I then need to get permission from anyone else in the shot to post it on SM?

A 60 years old male, hanging out and taking pictures outside a school every days while not having a kid in the said school, is not something that is really welcomed in 2024 in the UK (even if his intentions are noble). Wrong place really.

This is the original written warning. The question is this. Does "you have until the 16/07/2024 to stop the behaviour" mean I have until that date to stop filming, or I must not film before that date or a CPN will be issued? It's not clear to me, that's for sure.

@EdSaper @TheFox89688362 Traffic increase around that LTN was way more than 1%. Data from TFL were showing a massive increase on Lower Boston Road.

@TheFox89688362 The problem with this “analysis” is that it was done by anti LTN campaigners before LTN21 was put in and assumed traffic on boundary roads nearly doubling (187%). That’s not happened anywhere - the average traffic increase on 2020/21 London LTN boundary roads was actually ~1%.

LTNs - I may seem self-righteous & fanatical in my opposition to LTNs, but during Covid a LTN was thrust on my doorstep ruining what was previously a relatively quiet corner of London. I then became acutely aware/sensitive to direct impact LTNs have on other parts of London. 1/2
