@WazmanW @Tars_Canada @JasonLavigneAB This is what I said. The information contained in the publicly accessible (and APP endorsed) database contained everything needed for the petition, with the obvious exception of a signature. We don't know if the info was used for this purpose. We do know it COULD have been.

@timbosaucer @StrochimT @Mtn40A @WSOnlineNews The fact that literally everyone had access to a database containing all of the necessary information needed to potentially forge signatures does in fact jeopardize the integrity of the petition. Great job of convincing an undecided voter to vote for this, by the way.

You people need to get a grip, you sound absolutely saturated in desperation to shut down something the majority of Albertans voted in favour of having. People signed on their own free will, if individuals from Centurion project made a mistake in regards to their data base that mistake is on them, not on the motion for independence itself. We are having our referendum in October, cope any way you want..

@timbosaucer @Mtn40A @WSOnlineNews The court has asked for all names and volunteers from century , republican party and asked EA for the names of all the canvassers. If their is any cross over names ( Im sure there is ) than its over it proves organizations working together with each other

@CoryBMorgan How many CP members/supporters were canvassers? The fact is that every single canvasser had access to the database. The only question that remains is if the information from that database was used in a way it could have been used.

On this I can't agree. The only breach was with the Centurion Project bunch and they had nothing to do with the petitioning process. Stay Free Alberta had nothing to do with this. Their petition is valid. The folks behind the list abuse however.....

Apropos of nothing, Premier @MLA_Danielle now has every reason in the world to throw out the CI petition and put an end to the immediate possibility of secession referendum -- at least until faith in Elections Alberta is restored. Let's see what happens next.

@njcorny @jengerson @MLA_Danielle The petitioners did have access to the database created by CP, we know it was shared with foreign entities, and we know that it was compiled from the Alberta Electors list. The only unknown right now is IF that information was used in the way it COULD have been used.

@jengerson @MLA_Danielle The Centurian Project has nothing to do with Stay Free Alberta. The petitioners did not have access to voting lists. What you are saying is like saying the Forever Canada petition should be thrown out because the NDP have voter lists and the NDP supports Forever Canada.

@YukonStrong I have questions. Did any Centurion Project or RPA members/supporters collect signatures? Did any SFA or APP members/supporters who were gathering signatures access the database? Due to the intertwined nature of each organization, they were one group in this instance.

@unacceptfringe @cenobyte3 @kenhansonalta Their members/supporters were canvassers. The list was also made publicly available. Any canvasser, regardless of affiliation, had access and could have used that list. The Valid/Verified numbers will be interesting, as long as no seeded names appear.

@cenobyte3 @kenhansonalta how exactly are they partners simply because they share a common goal? I didn't see them with canvassers..or with a petition...do you see a contract between them or is it simply feeding your narrative?

Alberta, this is our moment to rise, not retreat .The data breach investigation has nothing to do with Stayfree Alberta or the brave organizers and volunteers behind the separation petition. Zero. But you already knew that. What’s really happening is the same old mainstream media machine doing what it does best: painting every single Albertan who dares to dream of independence as the villain. They smear us, twist the story, and hope we’ll slink away in shame. Don’t you dare. This investigation doesn’t erase the fire in your gut. It doesn’t invalidate the years of frustration, the economic gut-punches from Ottawa, or the deep, honest conviction that Alberta’s future belongs in Alberta’s hands. Your feelings aren’t fragile — they’re forged in reality. They’re shared by hundreds of thousands of us who are done watching our province get treated like a resource colony instead of a sovereign partner. This is the test. Every great movement faces the smear campaign, the manufactured scandal, the coordinated hit pieces designed to make you question if it’s worth it. Holding the line right now is exactly what separates those who talk about freedom from those who actually secure it. We don’t fold. We don’t apologize for wanting self-determination. We don’t let Ottawa or the media define us. Alberta independence isn’t a fringe idea, it’s the logical, principled stand of people who refuse to accept decline when excellence is still possible. Stay strong. Stay united. Keep talking to your neighbours. The path forward hasn’t vanished, it’s just being guarded by those who fear what a free Alberta represents. We are Alberta. We are resilient. We are unstoppable when we stand together. The future isn’t given. It’s taken by those brave enough to hold the line. Let’s hold it! Let’s win it! #AlbertaStrong #FreeAlberta #HoldTheLine

@Maria524390531 @JeffreyRWRath @gilmcgowan It was made publicly available, some canvassers are part of this group, and if names were illegally used then they should absolutely be removed or deemed invalid. Outside of finding seeded names or randomly calling someone, there is no way to invalidate a forged signature.

@JeffreyRWRath @gilmcgowan Riddle me this….. who is being investigated is a totally separate group not affiliated with SFA so why do these yahoos suddenly think that a separate group’s database breech has anything to do with the petition signing. They shouldn’t be able to make false claims like this.

Holy crap. What they’re saying is that if the name on the separatist petition corresponds with a name and address an official list (eg the voter list), then it will be accepted as valid — even if the ACTUAL person in question never signed the petition. This is a recipe for fraud!
Courtney Theriault@cspotweet

What if your name winds up on the seperatist petition even though you did not sign it? According to Elections Alberta, they can't tell you if your name shows up, and even if it did, there's nothing they could do to remove it.

@Autumblues @gilmcgowan EA released the numbers in a Valid/Verified format. The 50,000 or so signatures that were removed were deemed unverified for a number of different reasons. The same will happen here, unless the seeded names appear on any of the sheets.

@gilmcgowan @North_Resists So 93% of the entire population of Rimbey–Rocky Mountain House–Sundre, put their name on a petition to separate, despite 13% of that riding voting NDP in the last election, and if any one of them didn’t actually put their name on that petition there’s noting they can do?

@Tars_Canada @WazmanW @JasonLavigneAB They had to produce ID, it was not required to be recorded. The information that was allegedly obtained would include everything necessary, except a signature, to sign the petition. It is not a stretch to see how this could potentially be used by some people.

@thecritcomp @david_parker @furmsies There were 0 signatures removed for confirmed fraud. Elections Alberta released the numbers as Valid vs Verified. This means that around 50,000 signatures could not/were not verified, not that they were fraudulent. Some may have been, but that was never released by Elections AB

@CalgaryDave @tessa_2018 @Coralie4955 The main reason that the movement has struggled to gain support among undecided people, is the sheer amount of misinformation being spread. Life expectancy continues to rise in Alberta. The list changes everything. Areas that were "wins" for the movement are now in question.

Dear Albertans, Until someone can reconcile for me how access to a list- of any kind- invalidates the importance of Independence, this whole "list discussion" can be shelved and dealt with in the courts. It changes nothing. Alberta is still being gutted. Albertans are dying early due to being worked too hard. Alberta is still having its wealth extracted. List or no list. Give your heads a shake. Liberals do teamwork better than us. They don't care how much blackface Trudeau had... women he's groped... or trash policies he made: they support him. David Parker paid for access to "a list" (of which nobody even knows what it entails, yet!!!!) and the sky fell on the independence movement with everyone trying to direct and claim crumbs. How about everyone take a breather and focus on the important thing: Independence is moving along. Oct 19 is the vote. You can fix this dumpster fire of a country through making your own.

Leviticus 18:22 in both official languages of Canada You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Tu ne coucheras point avec un homme comme on couche avec une femme. C’est une abomination. This verse is illegal in Canada. So I post it because God's law is supreme.

@cutecanukgirl If you removed all $/L taxes ($0.37 provincial + federal), gas is still over $1.40/L. This doesn't change with independence. There are a lot of significant risks in separation, saving an average of $1,700/yr doesn't cancel that risk.

Omg gas prices today 😭🤯😭🤯 1.769 in Alberta. Time to separate from Canada, get rid of the penalizing taxes that push costs up and get rid of the ridiculous liberal policies that don't want us to produce it. Bonus for not having equalization payments from high prices

I'm happy to see discontent with the document getting aired out early. If we don't work out a path forward, a legal framework and constitution quickly enough we might end up the same way most new countries did: A civil war. Let's purify and distill this down to something pure and unassailable.

Alberta has everything it needs to stand on its own and this plan proves it. I’ve been breaking down The Value of Freedom piece by piece, and what stands out is how realistic and achievable this actually is. Keeping more of our own wealth, building our own systems, and making decisions here at home isn’t a theory… it’s a plan. This is what a confident, self-reliant Alberta looks like. Thanks @DennisKalma for writing this. Watch the full series on YouTube: youtube.com/playlist?list=… Read the full plan: @ABProsperityPrj albertaprosperityproject.com/wp-content/upl…
