More than $2.3 million worth of suspected fentanyl seized. Four individuals charged. In May 2025, the #OPP-led Border Drug Interdiction Task Force initiated Project Ollie, an intelligence-led investigation in the #GTA. Investigators identified an interprovincial network of individuals allegedly trafficking fentanyl between the GTA and Calgary, Alberta. The @CalgaryPolice (CPS) and the @RCMPGRCPolice (RCMP), K Division, were engaged to continue this joint-forces investigation. On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, a search warrant was executed at a location on Albright Road in Brampton. The following items were seized: • 18 kg suspected fentanyl • Three cell phones Between February 10 - 24, 2026, three individuals were arrested in Brampton, Winnipeg and Calgary for several Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences, including trafficking fentanyl. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 21-year-old individual of Calgary, Alberta. 🔵 High-visibility police presence leads to decrease in public calls for service downtown 🔵 Yesterday, Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, we continued Safer Calgary – Operation Order, with another focused operation aimed at enhancing public safety in priority areas downtown, including the East Village, Stephen Avenue, Century Gardens Park, Central Memorial Park, the area around the Chinook LRT & the area around the Sunalta LRT. 🤝 Accompanied by our partners with @CityOfCalgary Community Safety, @CalgaryTransit Public Safety, Alberta Health Services - Emergency Health Services & the @AlbertaSheriffs, police & peace officers conducted strategic patrols, focused enforcement & community outreach, connecting individuals with referrals to support services where needed. 📊 The proactive, high-visibility police presence led to a decrease in the number of publicly reported disorder calls for service, in comparison to the previous 2 days. Similarly, proactive officer-generated calls for service increased significantly during Operation Order, when compared to the previous 40 days. Highlights of the Operation yesterday include: ➡️ Officers connected with a woman who has been struggling to obtain housing and connected her with appropriate resources. ➡️ Officers and the Alberta Sheriffs located an individual wanted on 13 warrants (seven of them criminal). The individual was transported to Arrest Processing. ➡️ Officers near the Chinook LRT found a man in medical distress & administered Naloxone, with additional doses provided by a nearby construction crew. The man regained consciousness before Emergency Health Services arrived & the patient declined transport to the hospital. ℹ️ Our Calgary Community Safety partners located an unoccupied encampment along the CPKN rail line, containing 21 propane tanks & a large amount of debris, including syringes, discarded clothing & plastics. Sheriff Highway Patrol was proud to partner with @CalgaryPolice and @ABTransComm to conduct @CVSA inspections in Airdrie last week. Of 23 inspections, 15 vehicles were placed out of service for safety violations. Collaborative enforcement helps keep Alberta’s roads safe.

The Sheriffs Investigative Support Unit teams support police agencies for major and organized crime investigations across Alberta. In 2025, SISU provided surveillance on 256 files in 33 Alberta municipalities. If you suspect illegal activity in your area, contact police.
