Ayer envié a una paciente muy mayor a Urgencias con una seria insuficiencia respiratoria. Antes de irse en la ambulancia me dio un beso y me dijo: "Por si ya no te veo, gracias por todo lo que has hecho por mí estos meses." Esto es lo que da sentido a nuestro trabajo. #MFyC

Los que trabajamos en una ambulancia y tenemos que volar a partos en casa que iban a ser normales, pero se complicaron, y madre e hijo corren peligro a muchos km de un hospital, y antes de llegar pierdes a uno o a ambos...o queda el bebé con secuelas...lo vemos un poco diferente.

@huronenfadao Yo estaba citada para operarme el 16 de febrero (la semana de la huelga de febrero) vino mi madre que esta a 2500km y ese mismo dia me dijeron que no me operaban, mi madre tuvo que pillarse un viaje el mismo dia por que solo le convalidaban de trabajo un dia💃🏽💔

Rabies immune globulin (RIG) only regimes are NOT effective in preventing the disease and have resulted in rabies. It provides immediate passive immunity, but it doesn’t last as long as needed to prevent the disease. Jeez.

Can anyone remind me why everyone from journalists to software engineers to gym trainers are suddenly allowed to spew absolute bullshit regarding medicine? We are talking about medical facts on human lives, not "opinions" Case in point: Meningitis. It is highly contagious, it is devastating. Meningitis is NOT contagious, so what’s with all the nonsense? As my friend Kat Watkins says on FB today: “Meningitis is an infection in the brain caused by toxins passing the blood brain barrier. You cannot 'catch' it, it's not contagious 🙄🙄 So all this closing of schools is just theatre. It's to scare you into making sure you jab yourselves and your kids up. How many of those who have presented with meningitis, had the covid vax? Since its a side effect? As well as a side effect of many other jabs 🤷🤷”

@mphokeo @Albiku @Mlu__N2 For this kind of lasagna, the tomato sauce MUST be cooked slowly for a long time. Vegetables will mostly dissolve into the sauce. So if you want a proper sauce, vegetables first. Always. And you don't even need a Maillard reaction.
