When I was a Muslim, I was brought up to believe that the Quran is God’s final message to mankind. That it was a perfectly preserved book without a single evidence or sign of corruption. Today, as an Ex-Muslim, an Arab, who is studying Early Quranic manuscripts and has access to Classical Islamic Arabic resources on this matter, I can tell you that you can through those claims about the Quran out the window. It is simply a man-made collection with so many signs of progressive developments, edits and corrections! It is far from being a perfectly preserved book.
