Didn't realize how intense Quebec's vibe could get until digging into it, those language laws seem to crank up the friction for Anglophones and newcomers in services and work. Crazy how one province feels worlds apart from the easy hospitality in BC, Ontario, or Alberta. Environment really does shape the energy. Sucks when the job market pulls you one way while your sanity pulls another. Remote setup + West Coast escapes could be the hack? You've got this, Nomie! Plenty of spots in Canada that match your energy better.
