A protest vote can feel powerful - but it doesn’t always have the impact people expect.
In many elections, votes don’t just reflect preference, they determine results. Sometimes a protest vote can unintentionally split support and help deliver an outcome further away from what was intended.
That’s why it’s worth thinking not just about what you’re voting against, but what your vote might actually help deliver on the day.

So I removed them from Brighton Road.
Then London Road.
And we’re taking them out in the town centre.

@richardparke15 @0fukstogive @Ichi_Batt @RupertLowe10 I said unnecessary tailback, not traffic, to avoid a silly tangential argument that "bikes don't cause traffic, vehicles do." The TAILBACK was caused by the slow moving bikes, (it can be tractors, lorries, vans, cars etc) but in this instance it was bikes.

I KNOW where the pullins are, I use them when towing a stockbox rather than inconvenisncing other road users. I also pull over REGULARLY when in my tractor.

I was on an NSL travelling at 10 - 15mph, because an artic & the half dozen other vehicles in front of me were unable to pass a group of cyclists. They passed several pull ins & two laybys. The queue behind me continued further than I could see.

I’m sick to death of the right wing press to be honest. I suspect that Keir didn’t even know he had a niece and this wouldn’t have crossed his desk. Why is he getting the blame for selections that he has absolutely no involvement with whatsoever? 🤷🏼♂️

People said Labour wouldn’t change anything.
Today 11 million renters get stronger rights.
Section 21 abolished. Bidding wars banned. Rent rises limited. Discrimination against families and benefit claimants stopped.
That is a massive shift of power from landlords to renters.

Six years ago this street was a rat run for 5,500 drivers daily avoiding a short stretch of the A4. Now it provides safe passage for scores of children travelling independently to Chiswick School. Chiswick Conservatives want to remove this traffic filter. They are sickos.

I moved agencies, because I was ethically opposed to suggestion of a bidding war.
I discounted the rent in exchange for a longer term agreement.
Now I will need to increase the rent to cover additional fees.
