Our Street Racing Task Force had the entire stretch of Smith Road covered. Units watched a red hatchback jump into a race after the driver removed his license plate…like that was going to fool anyone. The second he thought the coast was clear, he put the plate back on. ➡️Surprise surprise to him, the coast was in fact NOT clear. We moved in and stopped him. 🛑 The result? 🚗 Vehicle seized 👮 Driver charged with Speed Contest Three more vehicles tied to the meetup were stopped for modified exhausts and obstructed plates. If you show up to these illegal races with similar violations, you’re rolling the dice and we will gladly write the summons. Best part? Five minutes into these stops, the whole group called it a night and went home at 11 p.m. That’s what accountability does. Word gets out fast. Aurora is NOT your racetrack. Try it, and we’ll see you.
