I’m mostly manually quoting a couple hours before game start so I’d think the sharp books I’m using for fairs would be efficient at that point, but I’m MMing non-major sports so maybe not

This is crazy cause FanDuel easily has the weakest F1 offerings. DraftKings, bet365, or BetMGM would’ve been way better.

@GaetenD Makes sense. Not being able to easily sell from the market page and always having to go to the portfolio page has definitely annoyed me at times. The mobile app definitely seems to be optimized for takers not makers. Which is maybe not a bad thing tbh.

@StatifySports Here’s the market view on the app. 1. I can’t see my current profit in the market 2. I can’t sell my position.

It’s pretty annoying that when viewing your Kalshi portfolio on Chrome mobile, it crashes literally every time. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if the trading UI on the app wasn’t awful.

@bebeckhardt @GaetenD Adding the ability to see your order book queue position on the app would be dope. This is the main reason I ever use Kalshi in Chrome mobile instead of the app.

@StatifySports @goldenpants013 The tick sizes are gonna change. It’s a PITA to change them once the product is deployed to 100k+ customers so we’ve dragged our feet. Also fwiw “good post” != “I agree”

I think this post highlights an issue. Adhi is very smart and someone I respect a lot. So when he says that deci-cent for golf is one of the "most requested" features. Or he's hearing from everyone "golf is broken on Kalshi", I think it mirrors what a lot of smart people at PMs MAY be hearing. But WHO is saying it's broken, and WHO is requesting these features? I can tell you who isn't saying this. 1. Recs 2. Market Makers who are staying up LIVE which is 80% of volume and all that matters. Pregame is useless. 3. The people counting the money at Kalshi. THE VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP - a tournament a PGA Tour players don't even care about. Was the 3rd most traded event during the first week of March Madness. This change to deci-cent hurts: 1. Recs who want to bet live - they will fail to get their bet at an exponentially higher rate and they DONT CARE ABOUT PRICE. 2. The valuable MMs (ones who are up live doing the lords work, dodging courtsiders etc..) 3. Kalshi So it helps...me 2 years ago? This would have been a really great update for me and like 10 other sharp golf bettors back when we were 100% taking. And it helps the penny jumpers ofc.

@BigBuckHunterrr @goldenpants013 If you think this is a good post @BigBuckHunterrr, curious why tick sizes on Novig are still so small? Is the marketing power over being able to “penny jump” other OSBs / PMs on odds screens still > encouraging MMs to post liquidity at this point in Novigs growth?

@potential__sam Both Tiger Woods YES and Tony Finau YES are impossible since they will not be competing at the Masters this year. So you can buy up every single available NO share for each golfer and you’re guaranteed to win because neither golfer can win. The outcome is determined.

@Flupnolide Agreed. Any idea why ML odds suddenly flipped from Michigan being the slight favorite to Arizona being the slight favorite an hour or so before tip? Was trying to just get filled on both sides, but lost queue position cause the odds move. Wasn’t mad about it though

@goldenpants013 @Sports__Proj Picks aren’t known until 1st game *of that day* tips off I mean. So you don’t know everyone’s team ownership percentage ahead of time, just after the fact. But you do know what teams everyone has remaining.

@goldenpants013 @Sports__Proj If you were in a March Madness survivor pool where you have to make 1 pick per day (not 1 per round) and you knew which teams every entrant in the pool had already used up, how would you go about taking advantage of that information? Picks aren’t known until 1st game tips off.
