Same with music groups, groups for a different age range, etc etc. They can find activities/groups that are appropriate for them.

Earlier today, two boys I didn’t know (roughly 12-13 years old) knocked on my front door. My house is about 200 yards off the road, so outside of deliveries we don’t see much front door action here. I answered, and one of the boys was bleeding from scrapes on hands, elbows and knees from falling off his bike. They asked if I had bandaids. Brought them inside, got them water, stuff to clean wounds, and patched him up. Offered to call his parents, drive them home, etc. They declined, thanked me and left. A few hours later, dad is banging on my door asking why I thought it was ok to let a child I didn’t know into my home. Motherfucker…why is your teenager not trained not to knock on strangers doors then go into their home if that’s your position? I sincerely can’t stand people. You can’t even be fucking human anymore. So demoralizing. Am I crazy?????

As a retired 30+ year firefighter, I feel your pain. There are two sides to every story heads and tails. I think what you did was absolutely amazing. It’s what I would’ve done and hopefully what everybody else would’ve. No good deed goes unpunished anymore. It’s never the wrong time to do the right thing. But I would’ve called the parents that may have saved things anyway have a great day. Stay safe keep up the great work.

To be clear, this was a law that attempted to ban therapists from telling gender confused boys that they're actually boys, and girls that they're actually girls. It was literally a law prohibiting anyone in the therapy profession from verbally acknowledging biological reality to their clients. Easily one of the most psychotic pieces of legislation ever passed anywhere in the world at any time in history. The fact that Kentanji Jackson tried to uphold this law -- even as her fellow liberals broke ranks with her -- just proves again that she is the most unfit, unqualified, unhinged lunatic to ever hold a seat on the Supreme Court.

And I learned enough of CS's past to be fairly certain CS knew very early on. I didn't know much at all about IK but initially it seemed like IK might legit have grown up thinking he was female.

He dresses male, shows no sign of conforming to female Moslem behaviour, and his coaches obviously treat him as one of the lads.

So pleased that Lynsey can finally speak about what happened to her. For the best part of 10 years Lynsey and the other world class female runners lost medals, earnings, sponsorship & careers to athletes with male DSDs. What an absolute travesty.

"Your daughter has a chromosomal disorder", or something to that effect, bc they don't want to offend or freak out the parents. And the parents trust the medical professionals.

Imo there's immense power in yrs of belief & perception. If they believed IK was female for yrs, they might have been "blind", so to speak, to the physical development.

So add that, plus the other lies they’re likely being told, it’s not impossible. They could have been told that they were infertile. And called it a day.

There's reason to believe CS knew from the get-go but I do think he & his family were coaxed/pressured by athletic scouts to go forward.

@MartGillingham @KBGreyhoundlady Semenya's autobiography is instructive. The photo of a 15 year old Semenya on the beach bare chested in a pair of swimming trunks speaks volumes. The unsavoury attacks by Semenya on the female athletes for not running fast enough & being 'racial' are also extremely unedifying.
