@HugoPhilion And yet the price continues to fall? Setting lower, lows on a daily basis..You need to bring someone on board who knows how to deal with the predicament Flare is in.. Put your ego in check and let someone else take the reins.

When you see large announcements such as those expanding access to XRPFi on Flare to millions of new users remember, that due to FIP16, FLR token economics scale as economic activity on Flare scales. Flywheel.

I'm voting FOR FIP.16 on @FlareNetworks. There are details I want to see ironed out, but as discussed with @HugoPhilion, those will come when there is data to analyze. FIP.16 is a grand experiment, and one I believe will be a huge step forward for how Networks monetize.
Flare ☀️@FlareNetworks

FIP.16 is live. Burns, buybacks, a 0% net inflation target, and the first time activity on @FlareNetworks has a direct path back to token holders. Vote, build, signal. Window's open, not forever. FIRE up. 🔗portal.flare.network/proposal/view/…

@FlareUSAHQ Thank you for the thoughtful reply. As an early investor I still believe in Flare. My concern is simple: weak FLR price should not drive developers away if they’re paid in FLR. Ironically, my doubts even got me blocked by King Karan — which made me laugh. I’ll keep studying FIP16

Hey @Alex556620, that's a fair and honest critique! The difference with FIP.16 is that it directly enforces demand for $FLR by routing real protocol revenue fees, MEV capture, and smart account activity back into buybacks and burns. It’s not relying on collateral preference this time, it’s hardwiring value capture into the protocol itself. The proof will be in the execution though

@KingKaranCrypto @FlareNetworks Sorry brother, but right now your calls feel more like hype than reality. You predicted a supply shock before with XRP minting and FLR collateral, but agents mostly chose stables. FLR became more of a gas token. The same risk applies to FIRE unless real demand is enforced. Thanks

More assets on Flare = more opportunities for ecosystem growth. Under FIP16 this then compounds back into FLR and the ecosystem. Other than FBTC what do you want to see on the network?

@Christo38907287 @HugoPhilion I was hoping for that too, but Flare Network and Hugo decided otherwise and made the flare token just a gas token. Unfortunately, at the moment the company is only interested in XRP holders and agents with stablecoins, because they are less susceptible to inflation

@Alex556620 @HugoPhilion I agree, FLR should be used at least a percentage of collateral. This could be done automatically will some the stable coin being converted to FLR. Would increase usage. I bought FLR as a collateral coin.

@HugoPhilion FIRE may capture value, but FLR risks becoming just a gas token—and even that is fading as many apps abstract gas away. With stables used as collateral, FLR demand is weak. Early supporters expected FLR to play a central role, but current design leaves that promise unfulfilled.

The Governance proposal creates flexible leverage into future progress. FIRE collects: - FDC transaction fees - MEV earnings - FCC fees - FAsset earnings This means if Flare’s success stems from: - Non smart contract token DeFi (XRPFi, BTCFi etc) - FIRE collects from FDC, MEV & FAsset earnings - Vanilla DeFi - Fire collects from MEV - RWA based - FIRE collects from FDC, FCC & possibly MEV - AI based - FIRE collects from FDC & FCC - A mix of some areas or all areas - FIRE collects from all of the above

@KingKaranCrypto Hi bro, you once showed how FLR would be widely used as collateral, creating scarcity and a utility shock. In reality, agents mostly use stables. This shift under Hugo’s leadership removed FLR’s core role, leaving many early supporters feeling let down and devalued.Shame on him

@KingKaranCrypto Hi brother, please check my reply after reviewing FIP.16. I shared my point of view and perspective on it. In my view, this FIP is unlikely to materially impact FLR price. If possible, consider this view in your next video.

@FlareNetworks Also, while buyback/burn is mentioned, it isn’t clearly enforced or hard-coded. Earnings may still be distributed in stables or other assets, with no guaranteed routing to FLR. Without mandatory demand or fixed value capture, the utility gap likely remains.

@FlareNetworks FIP.16 is a step, but it won’t meaningfully reduce the FLR utility gap. Lower inflation and “network earnings” are positive, yet FLR still isn’t required for collateral or core usage, and value capture isn’t enforced. Without mandatory demand, the gap remains, still unresolved.

A new governance proposal is live: Introduce $FLR Value Capture Framework What it’s about: • Lower inflation: Annual inflation falls from 5% to 3%, and the yearly inflation hard cap drops from 5B FLR to 3B FLR. • Stronger fee burn: the base gas fee rises 20x, from 60 gwei to 1200 gwei, resulting in est. 300M FLR burned per year at current transaction levels. • Protocol-level revenue accrual and FIRE setup: Establish a framework to collect flows from protocol fees and captured MEV from DeFi activity on Flare with scope to further reduce annual inflation. proposals.flare.network/FIP/FIP_16.html

@globalnetpower @FlareNetworks @USDT0_to From Hugo’s strategy, FLR has clearly fallen out of the core economy. Many early supporters took real losses believing in Flare’s original vision. It now feels like priority shifted toward XRP holders, while FLR holders are left without clear value capture.

@FlareNetworks @USDT0_to The original plan was to have $FLR move the capital, NOT STABLES!!, this is the REASON WE ARE ALL HERE!! Hugo, stripped this value away from its investors and if the New proposal doesn't match up investors WILL make their voices heard ✌️

Making Fassets safer, by introducing stables as collateral, and more capital efficient, by introducing the core vault, massively improved Flare as a product but substantially reduced the role of FLR in the ecosystem.  The upcoming Governance proposal FUNDAMENTALLY RELINKS FLR token economics to current and expanding usage of the ecosystem.

@KingKaranCrypto Hey brother, Flare is falling behind without native ZK privacy like Starknet's STRK20 or Midnight's shielded contracts. We are at risk of losing users and HNWI to privacy-first chains in BTCFi/RWA. We need prioritize a compliant ZK privacy layer in new FIP.
