My son and I got to hang out with some great Americans today. I get to see everything I missed out on by never serving here, and he gets a chance to see what could potentially be in his future… Pretty damn cool.

If there’s 1 person responsible for my Army journey, it’s COL Burns. We met 4 yrs ago this week at Green Ramp. He was 82nd PAO - and I was an AP reporter begging for a seat on a C-17 bound for the Middle East. Today, I got to watch him promote. He is truly the best of the best.

@AlexBurnett84 Question: Can you offset foreign jump wings from the unit awards or do they have to be center and you can offset your RDI. I’ve been looking and can’t find anything on it.

Great say representing the @82ndABNDiv during the #Airborne Wandeltocht. This event is a great way to remember the #Paratroopers who fought for the city of Arnhem.

Yesterday was a great day to be part of the @landmacht! Got a glimpse of what the future holds for the Dutch Army and heard from their SMA. Finally, got to see an old @82ndABNDiv exchange officer take a company in the @11Luchtmobiel!

@EODHappyCaptain It’s still bizarre to see this photo. When I took it I never imagined what it would mean to so many people.

Two years ago, twenty years of war that defined my generation ended. It’s hard to explain, but they were the best and worst days of my life.

Two years ago I took this picture. Those final days in #Afghanistan were among the hardest of my @USArmy career and I am still coming to terms with the end of the war. Still, I will never forget those I served with in those final days.
