How much does it cost to hire someone to create a simple MVP for an idea these days? I am talking about authentication, an API or two to connect to and a few simple services, with UI.

@AndrianLesiuk I tried this several times, it's very difficult to do both at once. If you believe in something, you should follow it fully.

Shutting the Door. After 10 years of building companies and experiencing a mix of emotions, I'm at a major crossroads. I've decided to close my latest venture (unless something significant happens by month's end), and I'm debating daily: return to the steady, familiar corporate career with its comfy salary, or roll the dice again with another startup? I reflect on my passion for building and the unpredictability of starting anew. What I know for sure is that whatever happens next will bring new, exciting adventures.

Cold emails can work sometimes, but usually, it's hard to gain traction with them alone. If you have a well-defined target and can craft personalized, value-driven messages, you might start engagement. However, a multi-channel approach, including content, social media, and SEO, will build more sustainable traction.

Would you say cold emails are the best distribution channel when starting from scratch?

@pattammaro There's a nice app called Tab - bill splitter, that does everything you mentioned.

Random app idea that just popped into my head. Splitting the bill can be annoying. You pass around the bill, have to add it up, etc. The app: A bill splitter that combines AI + photo parsing to quickly divide it up. The user does 2 things: 1. Take a photo of the bill 2. Start talking to the app. Apple vision to parse text from the photo. Would then send that + a transcription of what the user said to get back structured data: - Who was at dinner - What they ate Use that to create the data and present it to the user. They could then of course modify as needed, state who paid, etc. Thoughts?
