@dr_obbs Could the new front wing regs not extending to the end of the tires allow for less turbulent air from the front tire wake to impact the rest of the body and could that be one of the reasons Redbull have chosen to shrink their side pods?

One thing that is immediately apparent in this regulation set is that the forward outwashing tunnel spray is just non-existent. Not that this was contributing much to the overall spray problem, but forward of the rear tyres the plume profile is totally different. In the 2025 image of the RB21, you can see much more edge spray. I have no idea what the speed differences are in these two images, and the Brazil 2025 image looks like much more water is being displaced than the testing picture from 2026. So take this with a lot of skepticism. But maybe .... just maybe... there could be something to this inwashing concept? With that said... the rear diffuser plume still looks like a problem. But can't really fix that..
