Ein Vorschuss ist eben nur das: ein Vorschuss. Kein Bonusgehalt, weil man besonders toll ist. Wer keinen bekommt, bekommt dann halt Tantiemen. Und wenn das Buch nicht erwirtschaftet, was vorgeschossen wurde, gibt es beim nächsten mal keinen Vorschuss. Und wenn doch, dann doch.

@ArndPollmann Ich sehe nicht, warum bei Verlagsvorschüssen kein ungerechter „Gap“ – in verschiedenen Hinsichten – bestehen können soll. „Vorschuss“ heißt es nur, weil der Verlag querfinanziert. Das Moral-Buch verzeichnet aktuell die 7. Auflage. Das rechtfertigt keinen Faktor 10.

Als Chemiker reibt man sich verwundert die Augen. Da ist z.B. die aktuelle Version des Heizungsgesetzes, die vorsieht, dass in Gasheizungen das chemische Molekül Methan in den nächsten Jahren durch das chemische Molekül Methan ersetzt wird. Klingt komisch, ist aber so. Denn Erdgas und Biogas sind beides fast 100% Methan. Aber scheinbar macht es auf wundersame Weise einen Unterschied, welche Methanmoleküle wir mit Luftsauerstoff der Oxidation zuführen, um damit Energie zu gewinnen. Man kann als Naturwissenschaftler so viel von der Politik lernen. Ist das nicht schön?

Another nice theatrical win for @AmazonMGMStudio this weekend with $16m+ for #TheSheepDetectives. It's a wonderful film and with fantastic WOM, could be headed to a $70m+ domestic gross. Drop next week should be small and has room to play for weeks to come.
