Since, per Gödel, a perfect theory of a complex system doesn't exist, & per Edward Lorenz & Poincaré, attempts to control complex systems produce chaotic results, individuals' pursuit of their rational self-interest is the best Rx for optimal organization of complex societies.

@TheRealRolehan @MilesianSchool @LPNational Had he assumed a supernatural creator, his logic would then have been unsound. Nature is repleat with examples of creation and design by natural selection. Pseudo-intellectuals vainly attempt to conceal gaps in their knowledge of natural creation by positing supernatural causes.

@MilesianSchool @LPNational You've proven my point while trying to ignore it. Your logic assumes no Creator. And yet, the Nuremberg trials weren't an abnegation of authority; they were an appeal to a Higher Law. Morality a human invention? Nuremberg means you borrow from my worldview to judge your own.

@Catrinisin @MomAngtrades Any two things in reality are the same in some respects and different in other respects. If you believe there are two things that differ in all respects, only one is real. If you believe there are two things that are the same in all respects, you've miscounted one thing as two.

Universal income is socialism. I’m laughing so hard at the people saying “hey, I will able to do hobbies and whatever I want” you do realize that’s the same things people who want socialism think will happen and it’s not even close to reality. Whether it’s Mamdani’s or Elon’s plan, the outcome is the same. Why don’t people get this?

You misunderstand Article I and Amendment X of the Constitution and the very essence of the founding generation's motivation for having fought for independence from England in the first place. The power to levy a tax, such as a tariff, is the exclusive power of Congress, by Article I of the Constitution. IEEPA is the delegation of that power, by Congress to the President, in cases of emergency only. What emergency lies here? The lopsided trade situation had gradually developed for decades since WW2. It was no sudden emergency! In the old European legal tradition, the sovereign monarch was presumed to have had a power (e.g., to impose a tax such as a tariff) unless that power had been specifically surrendered by the monarch (e.g., by the Magna Carta) to his subservient subjects. In the revolutionary, new American tradition, the sovereign citizen is presumed to have reserved a power to himself unless that power has been specifically granted to a state government or (by the Constitution) specifically to one of the three independent branches of the federal government respectively. In England, subjects are granted limited and specific privileges by the sovereign government. In America, the government is granted specific and limited powers by the sovereign citizens.
C A Rendrag@ChrisGa26685250

@CraigCaplan The IEEPA does not specify what actions can or can't be taken. The present lopsided trade situation should have allowed emergency tariffs to be installed.

Don’t think this is a joke. I’m deadly serious… Most people find thinking painful and uncomfortable. It’s a rare few that actually agree to do it, and even fewer that want to do it. Most people like the comfort of just being told what to do and doing it, because they don’t have to think, and if anything goes wrong they can just say that they were just doing what they were told.

In direct regards to Musk blowing the lid on the Epstein file, some people argue that he should have kept quiet and keep his loyalty to Trump going because of the MAGA bromance they've shared and its positive effect on the electors, the DOGE creation with its powerful findings, etc... and that the current feud is mostly due to Musk's Asperger Syndrome's typical clinical symptoms (of which they've posted the list of most common stigmas) Whether there could be some or any degree of reality in their assessment, the truth is, it doesn't matter (to start with, by making these statements, they're trying to downplay what truly transpired, what is genuinely at stake in this situation) And here it is: what truly matters is that because of his very immersive DOGE mission, Musk was able to dig DEEP on the inside for the last 4 months, and therefore: –> Besides the 'waste, abuse & fraud' of our taxpayers money, he found out WHY the Epstein file was being held back (child trafficking had weighed real heavy on him for a long time, so he was REALLY hoping to finally see it exposed & resolved!) –> he kept his cool and showed restraint the whole time because he wanted to achieve his DOGE mission the best he could with no antagonistic interruption/ and also his reputation was on the line!) –> when he got done with his officially original commitment, i bet he couldn't wait to run out of there considering the intense AND latent hypocrisy all throughout the gov. which must have been insufferably frustrating & cringe (Mar-O-Lago parties and such😳😣) –> one of the greatest qualities of Asperger people (my son has it, and he's doing amazingly well at this point) is that they love the truth and they hate lies (think the 'Young Sheldon' tv show/ and btw, the list of symptoms i read earlier from that post only stated stigmas, none of the qualities) –> Elon couldn't spend 1 more day suppressing in himself the truth he knew about Trump holding the Epstein file hostage to his own involvement (i means, we kinda knew anyway since they were friends & partied together —Gates also is in on it, up to his pathetically demented eyeballs) –> remember the big upset with A.G. Pam Bondi? For like 2 weeks she did almost nothing because she was so conflicted finding out as well. She finally took hold of her frustration and resumed going 'all fire' because she probably reasoned with herself "I have a really important job to accomplish, i HAVE GOT to keep going!" –> Kash Patel was probably the first one to find out and probably had to confront DJT himself about it, arguing that this whole blunder was putting EVERYONE in the Cabinet at great risk: gone, credibility & trust, gone the dream of fixing all of the US lethal problems... –> We know that there's been a few instances of intense conflict happening on & off within the cabinet, and that Sec of State Rubio & E. Musk ruffled feathers hardcore, very probably because of the opposing views they had whether to overlook the prez' past involvements with Epstein or not (which meant to stop the file's disclosure in its tracks and to a screeching halt – like they did/ same with the heavily redacted JFK ones leading nowhere new, same with the UFO / UAP ones slowing down..) OR, to keep the process going, revealing everything whether pleasant or not, risky or not, because from Musk's perspective, being a loving father of many children, it REALLY matters that the numerous elites involved with the Epstein dealings WOULD NOT get away with their crimes of pederastic abuse which went on for decades. The truth is the truth, and Musk might not be perfect, far from it (no one is, or pls throw the first stone!) but as he said it "I can't stand it anymore!" It's a matter he just couldn't keep hidden, prez or no prez, friend or no friend. There are things (crimes) that OVERRIDE friendships and loyalties, and the protection of minors is one of them. Big time. @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump @AGPamBondi @FBIDirectorKash @VP kp/sbr

What a crock of BS. Again, playing up the fake china AI arms race. AI is a threat to humanity, & if we wanted to stop it, we’d bomb China & put an end to AI once and for all. That’s not the case. We are partners with China in AI. We are leading a global post-human TECHNATE.
David Sacks@davidsacks47

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S A.I. MASTERSTROKE IN THE MIDDLE EAST On top of being a historic diplomatic and economic success, President Trump’s trip to the Middle East was also a game-changer in the global AI race. With the administration’s signing of the first “AI Acceleration Partnership” in Abu Dhabi, President Trump signaled a new willingness to work with our Gulf State partners on AI. This approach was sorely needed to mend fences in the region after years of hostility from the Biden administration. The AI Acceleration Partnership is not just a single deal, it’s a new framework for advancing American AI both at home and abroad, positioning our tech stack as the ecosystem of choice across the region for decades to come. Under this new framework: — America’s global partners will invest in the build-out of data centers in the U.S. at least as large and powerful as those in their own home countries. This means billions of dollars of investment flowing into the U.S. and billions more in revenue from American technology exports. — The vast majority of advanced semiconductors available in partner countries will be owned & operated by American hyperscalers and cloud service providers. This ensures that these new AI compute clusters remain part of the larger American technology ecosystem, aligned with U.S. interests. — All advanced semiconductors will remain under robust and comprehensive U.S. security controls, protecting American technology from any illegal diversion or illegal access. This is a win-win deal for the U.S. and our global partners. The U.S. accelerates the build-out of its AI compute infrastructure, and our partners get to participate in the bounties of AI by building on the leading AI tech stack. By creating the largest ecosystem, we also help to cement American technology as the global standard — before our competitors can catch up. The alternative to this framework was to exclude critical geo-strategic, resource-rich friends and allies from our AI ecosystem. This was the Biden policy, and it was foolish in the extreme. Every country will want to participate in the AI revolution. If we align with them, we will pull them into our orbit. If we reject them, we will drive them into China’s arms. To quote the immortal words of Don Barzini, “A refusal is not the act of a friend.” In fact, it will backfire by creating a Huawei Belt & Road. Thank you to President Trump for his leadership on AI. He made it a priority for the U.S. to win the AI race, and his historic diplomacy in the Gulf region has already enabled the first AI Acceleration Partnership, with more to come. Kudos also to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick for negotiating these America First deals and driving the best bargain for the U.S.

Yeah, you’re the same person. Nice try, but you’re not fooling anyone. I was mocking your pseudo intellectual style. I thought you’d have got that. But it doesn’t seem as though you did. Vocabulary, Ancient Greek usernames and screenshots from Raphael’s the School Of Athens cannot compensate for the lack of any real intelligence. Sorry to draw back the curtain, but you need to be more imaginative. Consider this part of your learning curve. Although I’m pretty certain that neither Pythagoras nor Zeno, nor Epictetus, Hypatia or Il Sodoma, needed to any such lessons - I think they were just gifted with intellect). Anyway. Funny though. Thank you. PS. Both your profile pictures are from the same fresco. Bit lazy.

What would a swat team do? Or SO19 in the UK? They’d withdraw, negotiate, and the penalty would have to wait until the hostages (children as you can them) were clear. But your scenario is not just a hypothetical, it’s a full on fantasy that bears no resemblance to any real world situation since the campaigns of Alexander the Great. Are you saying that the gang are advancing towards you, wielding children as human shields? That’s not happening in Gaza. And if you’re saying they’re hiding using children as human shields then your hypothesis falls down because there is no threat posed, ergo, nothing to defend against. In which case we’d fall back to the modus operandi in the civilised west. Negotiate, free the hostages/children, exact consequences afterwards. If you’re talking about how do we enact a retaliatory strike against people shielding themselves with innocent children, the answer is simple: we don’t. We negotiate, and bide our time. On the UK we entered into talks with the IRA. Many people hated that approach. These people had murdered and blown the limbs off of fellow countrymen. But the killing stopped. Israel are not waging the most humane military campaign. That’s a fact. They’re disgusting. They couldn’t though even if they wanted to. They have the second most incompetent military of all active militaries (second only to the US - sorry, US, but that’s true, you’re friendly fire death rate is the highest the modern world has ever known, closely followed by Israel). All they have is money (American money) and tech. Discipline and morals (qualities the Americans have in spades) are entirely absent as well. I wouldn’t trust the IDF to rescue a cat from a tree. There’d be no tree and no cat. Anyway. I digress.

Hot take: Nayib Bukele @nayibbukele could free a political prisoner at risk from rival gangs & send them to a friendly nation, not the US. It’d ease tensions over the accidental transfer & show goodwill. Plenty of countries could step up to take them in. This would be political master craft and my guess would be appreciated by our admin.
