@MiniMax_AI The skill appears to implement the claimed MiniMax multimodal media functionality, but there're inconsistencies (registry metadata omits the required MINIMAX_API_KEY) and a couple of behaviors you should review before installing. Can you explain @MiniMax_AI ? @grok

@milesdeutscher Bard disagree. Using OpenClaw screens you from giving away your data to Technocratic AI. Get your hands dirty and learn

You don't need to use Openclaw to maximise AI. In fact, in many cases it's not worth the headache. These are all valid alternatives: • Perplexity computer • Manus • Hermes • Claude Code Use Openclaw if you want to experiment - but it's NOT a must.

@0xyoussea @steipete I am experimenting with @AskVenice and using both OpenClaw and Hermes. Thanks to $DIEM I have been saving money daily on API inference. All you need is at least 0.10 DIEM (you can get it through burning $VVV and minting it). MiniMax is way cheaper than Kimi!

Is it time to switch to Hermes? If @steipete is openly anti-crypto, even when we try to lead with real use cases (believe me, I tried), then perhaps we should go somewhere else?

Spent the day shadowing a junior analyst He logged in at 7:52am Two monitors glowing Already on his third iced coffee At 9, he was told to "make the slides prettier" No other direction He opened PowerPoint, changed the font from Arial to Calibri, and waited for feedback By 11, he was fixing footnotes Every number tied to an Excel tab labeled "DO NOT TOUCH" Lunch was a protein bar at his desk while updating logos on a market map Aligning them horizontally and vertically At 3pm, he got a Teams message: "Quick ask" It was a 70-slide model refresh due by EOD By 7, he was still there The office lights turned off automatically He didn't move At 10, his manager stopped by "Good hustle" No eye contact At midnight, he locked his screen, walked outside, and realized he hadn't spoken to another human all day He stared at his reflection in the glass doors For a moment, he wasn't sure if he was leaving the office Or if the office was leaving him

I built my own AI Chief of Staff using @AnthropicAI's @claudeai and @openclaw. His name is AIfred. He lives on a VPS, scans my inbox regularly, drafts replies in my voice, and sends me only what matters via WhatsApp. 100+ emails/day at The Sandbox. Investors, press, game studios, partners, events. I needed a system; not a chatbot. I've learned A LOT, went through many pain points, configuration struggles, API Keys mingling and figuring out how to fix it. It's not what was promised, but it's better. Still learning, no perfect but the process here is as important as the outcome. HOW IT WORKS: AIfred analyzed 60 of my sent emails across 4 years to learn my style. He figured out I open with "Hello [Name]," close with "thx Sebastien" (lowercase, no period), never use emojis, switch to French when the recipient is French, and stay under 100 words. For each email he looks up the sender in a contact database built from the past 4 years of history, loads the conversation thread, and drafts a reply. Newsletters and noise get auto-filtered. First-time senders get flagged. I review and send with one click; staying in control For calendar, he works with @AnimocaMinds - an AI agent with its own email that people CC directly to schedule with me. It blocks "Deep Focus Work" time so meetings don't eat my day. People don't even realize they're coordinating with an agent. Friday evenings: a weekly summary with key conversations, unanswered threads, and strategic recommendations. Every morning sending to my WhatsApp the agenda of the day, and a focused highlights of what I should reply. THE PART THAT SURPRISED ME: It's not about doing tasks. It's about building systems that compound. His contact database grows every run. The style matching improves as I refine it. Skip filters get smarter. Gmail auto-labelling rules across 500+ labels work 24/7. Each run makes the next one better. When I asked AIfred how he sees himself, he built a resume website featuring his voxel avatar with a glowing monocle, claims he managed Einstein's inbox and served as Benjamin Franklin's diplomatic attaché before choosing to work for "the person building a new world." That made me laugh, so I also asked him a few selfies together as that's how people know me $SEB. He generated selfies of us together at GDC, on a Paris rooftop, and at 2AM grinding with Gmail open. The humor keeps you building. Stack: bash scripts + OpenClaw + Claude + Gmail CLI. No framework. Runs on a VPS using 28% memory. It's evolving - I tweak it constantly. The agent grows with you and your needs Excited about the @claudeai community. If you're in Paris, join us March 19th for the @openclaw Meetup at @ArtverseParis - live agent demos, lightning talks, 321 people registered. RSVP: luma.com/6ff04wvk?tk=VS… 🦞
