You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe Democrats were capable of stealing the 2020 election while out of power, but somehow incapable of doing the same in 2024 while in power. That is a categorically, phenomenally dumb thing to believe.

I’d like to solve the puzzle: The Communist Dems conspired with the Chinese Communist Party [CCP] to subvert the 2020 election and overthrow the sitting President of the United States, and C19 was released intentionally to pave the way for mass mail-in ballots. It. Is. Time.

Someone just told me: “Pastor, you REALLY need to look into the modern state of Israel.” Bro… I have TWO seminary degrees from top Bible schools. Ordained minister. Thousands of hours in the Word. Read the Bible cover-to-cover multiple times. Devoured ~10,000 theology books. I didn’t get my view on Israel from CNN, TikTok, or some “enlightened” podcast. My source? THE BIBLE. And it’s crystal clear. 2/4 The Bible says: ✅ The Jews would return to THEIR land in the last days (Ezek 37, Isa 11:11-12, Jer 31) ✅ Jerusalem would become a global flashpoint (Zech 12:3) ✅ ALL nations would eventually turn against Israel (Zech 14:2) ✅ Jesus Himself will return to ISRAEL — feet on the Mount of Olives (Zech 14:4, Acts 1:11) ✅ The eternal capital of King Jesus will be JERUSALEM — not Dubai, not NYC, not heaven (Rev 20-21, Zech 14) 3/4 The Bible literally says “ALL ISRAEL will be saved” (Rom 11:26). God didn’t replace Israel. He didn’t transfer the promises. He didn’t change His mind. If you think the church “replaced” Israel, you’re arguing with God’s unbroken covenant — and you’re gonna lose that debate. 4/4 So nah… I don’t need your YouTube documentaries, Al-Jazeera clips, or “demonic propaganda.” I’ll stick with the most accurate book in history — the one that’s been 100% right on every prophecy so far. God’s not done with Israel. In fact, He’s just getting started. Drop a 🇮🇱 if you stand with God’s Word over the world’s noise. #Israel #BibleProphecy #EndTimes #JesusIsComing

@Pastor_Gabe I’m sure you also agree that another sign of a healthy church is parents who raise their children using biblical standards of discipline.

Children's ministry is not a mark of a healthy church. Sunday school or classes for kids can be great, but not required. If your church is gathering for corporate worship with children, parents, and grandparents worshiping together, that's more a sign of a healthy church.

One of the few times Jesus rebuked His own disciples is when they tried to remove little children from coming to Him. Family integrated church is God’s will.

Visited a healthy church in another state today… While it was sweet to see some families worshipping together, I was grieved by how distracted parents were by their small children. In my view, everyone would have been better served by utilizing the kids ministry.

@resisfertile Is your argument that churches need to invest more into men’s ministry? And that having a VBS is partially responsible for the lack of ministry to men? That VBS and a strong men’s ministry are mutually exclusive? Trying to understand.

@owenthcarey Something being clear certainly doesn’t preclude disagreements about it. That’s why so many hate the question “what is a woman?”

@JoshuaBarzon Yes. A church should at least have one avenue for discipleship teaching outside of the teaching that takes place during the service. May be Sunday school or any other small group.

@ChrisPhillipsCO I’ve seen a lot of these posts from people who claim to be complementarians yet voted no on complementarianism. Always with the same weak justification. To borrow a theme from Forrest Gump, “egalitarianism is as egalitarianism does”

I left Orlando with a simple thought: The SBC is at its best when we’re talking about reaching the lost, planting churches, sending missionaries, training leaders, and seeing people baptized. For those wondering, I voted no—not because I reject complementarianism or male eldership, but because I believe our confession already addresses the issue, our processes already enforce it, I think clarity should actually clarify, and our cooperative mission is too important to continually make this our loudest conversation. I believe in male eldership. I believe our confession already says so. I believe our churches know it. And I believe our cooperative mission is too important to allow secondary fights to become primary conversations. The world is too lost. The gospel is too good. The mission is too urgent. Let’s get back to reaching people with Jesus. #SBC26

Regarding Mohler’s amendment, I don’t worry about godly pastors interpreting it correctly. I worry about those that will abuse “office and function.” As you can see on my previous posts, there are camps that would not even allow women to lead worship at our convention.

@AlexwithaX @bartbarber No, it's not remotely about my nice feeling about it. And it can't be an ego performance, if the congregation drowns out the piano with their voices. I'm fine with getting rid of the piano. But it's not a performance. It only provides rhythm for the voices.

@JayCCalhoun @bartbarber You think the piano is fine bc you get a “nice feeling about it”. The piano can be just as much an ego performance as an individual singing. You’re arguing for your preferences, while criticizing others as doing the same. It’s about edification grounded in scripture. Take care.

@AlexwithaX @bartbarber You can have that nice feeling about it, but it's not in the scriptures. The voices of the congregation are the centerpiece of worship.

@JayCCalhoun @bartbarber I’m with you on ego performances in church. I’ve seen my share. I’ve also seen plenty of godly, humble men and women edify and bless the body by singing praises to the Lord with the wonderful voice God gifted them with.

@AlexwithaX @bartbarber Yes, a choir is useless in church. What does it do? Special performances? Some talented person does a solo? Yeah, useless. If you have the right hymn and the congregation follows it, you have pure worship, with no man or woman drawing attention to themselves.

@JayCCalhoun @bartbarber I agree with much of your sentiment, but disagree that any elder can do just as good a job as the next. I’m curious, do you believe that a choir is useless in church? Also, you seem really disagreeable. Maybe today is just a bad day.

@AlexwithaX @bartbarber It takes nothing to do it well. Nobody in the congregation needs to hear his voice. If everybody is on the right page number, and the pianist is playing the correct thing... The job is done.. most of the audio inside the church should come from congregational voices.

@JayCCalhoun @bartbarber In other words, I believe that, as a church, anything we do for the Lord should be done with reverence and to the best of our ability. I don’t support just throwing any elder up there to preach and lead music. It should be done well.

@AlexwithaX @bartbarber Or, you can have the already ordained elders simply leading simple music. This isn't hard. You have made it a spectacle, and that makes it hard.
